If Blizz balanced populations and WM by allowing conq points per kill, I do think we could see a change in player behavior and mentality:
Solo (with no other tag): 5-10pts*
*Bonus to solo killing assassin: 25pts
Solo (with tag % of dmg/heal): 3-5pts
Small grp: 1-3pts
Grp (5+): 1pt
There also needs to be a diminishing return on killing the same player to avoid acct farming.
Or some variation to conquest that encouraged solo/small grp engagement and discouraged players wafflestomping in raids.
Right now, there is 0 drawback for Horde to create a raid and zerg solo alliance players, camp spawn pts with a +8-20grp. There is also minimal incentive for Alli to turn on WM.
If they want to change the point system to a currency that provides scrolls/pots/gear/pets/mts/etc. that enhances WM experience, even better.
Blizz needs to balance what attracts players to wPvP (solo/small grp/raid), while also discouraging those same players from the current imbalance by implementing a rewards system that corrects a clear problem.
