I have heard of the spell power hunter but this seems off. If I want Enh Shaman why no Str or Agi, If I want BM Hunter why no Agi. Maybe I am just too old and am stuck in Vanilla, have these staples changed for these classes? are these sets really the type of gear I should be looking for instead? Aspect of Viper seems to negate any need for more Int for more mana. Shamanistic Rage not as good but similar.
If this is reasonable can someone explain it to me, if not can Devs please change this.
They just hate hunters.
Emerald warden is meant as a pvp catch up gear. Its not as good as other gear sets. Its meant to get you started if you spammed incursions from 25-50.
You will need to replace it, but it will bridge the gap between no gear and your journey to prebis and bis.
Ability is a VERY strong stat for hunters now that you get heart of the Lion. It’s too strong to put on non-raid gear. And if you put too little and no AP or crit instead of agility, you make the piece useless
Int is still great because ideally you don’t want to lose 10% damage and two global cool downs to sustain mana
They gave attack power only because it’s meant to be a stepping-stone set.
The %crit is nice tho
And for enh shamans, having int and AP is good as 1int = 1AP
Agi + Heart of the Lion is just too strong for a starter set.
