Does anyone know with Rygelon if you can accidentally remove puddles of collapsing quasar fields if a player without dark eclipse steps in it? We only had time for 2-3 pulls tonight and got to a point where there were players with dark eclipse, but no adds/puddles to remove it. Our DPS is very high and on several fights tonight we bypassed some mechanics due to phasing the boss, so I’m curious if that’s our problem or if we removed puddles from a previous add spawn that should have been kept around for the next dark eclipse cast.
On Heroic, yes. Puddles are absorbed as soon as someone touches them. But even on Normal, the puddles only last for 8 seconds after the add dies. For this reason, you’re best to kill the adds as they’re getting close to the boss, rather than all of them quickly, as debuffs can go out late and people with the later debuffs can’t clear if all the adds died too soon.
