No addons = lower raid difficulty?

I’m giving you the response you’ve earned, not the response you want. Your best response is grasping at straws and bending over backwards to white knight a company that couldn’t care less about you while constantly contradicting their very own press releases.

And this is why you earn low effort responses, you’re not capable of having a proper conversation when your “education” forms from your own npc like programing.

There are also going to be a lot of :scream: :exploding_head: :open_mouth: faces from players who think that it was “just addons” that separated the players beating the high-end raid content, from them.

I don’t see how they can do this. Midnight is gonna be a dungshow wrapped in present paper.

This question has been asked and answered a hundred times, yet somehow people still get it wrong.

If a boss should take a 100 pulls today, that same boss should take 100 pulls in Midnight.
But yes, to compensate for lesser addon involvement, a boss that maybe would have had a 4 second mechanic window will now have a 5 second mechanic window, a boss that summoned 3 adds might now summon 2.

“Should.”

Why would anyone expect “will”?

More importantly, that “takes 100 pulls” thing is a great example of what warps Blizz’s thinking in the design and tweaking of game… the obsession with how long things take, or how many tries, or how much grind… instead how enjoyable and engaging they are.

And the real reason they’ve always hated addons… addons simply give people some control back, and take some control over that “how much grind?” out of Blizz’s hands… and Blizz HATES that.

Thats what they always resort to when they lose arguments.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out :joy:

Your disabilities are not a reason to make a game sub-par.

Design a great game first, then implement accessibility.

Don’t like it? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Well that’s certain Blizz’s attitude towards people with challenges… and they’re not joking…

LOL. More like you have no real counter argument.

Blizzard has already explain their changed of plans. You just refuse to accept it, clinging to the old press release.

Regardless, this add-on change is going through. Your screaming and yelling on the forums will come to nothing. :dracthyr_shrug:

P.S. If you are only going to give low quality responses, save the internet some bandwidth and just not post at all.

If were getting rid of addons that allowed people with whatever disability to play at top levels and this then forces them to play at a lower level. Then we need to allow them a pathway to the same rewards. I think Tier 11 Delves addressed this somewhat. Not well enough but I have compassion So I don’t see anything wrong with people getting gilded crest like rewards through a longer/harder solo path.

And you have nothing of substance to show other than

You’re not smart enough to be taken seriously

I think mythic raiding is good to have it just should not be what the overall game is designed around

Posts like these are how you lose access to posting on the forums. Trust me I’ve been there.

I support this message.

Again, she / he / it has no real argument, so they resort to insults.

You have been logical in your responses, they haven’t in theirs, therefore, insults and ad-homen attacks.

Imagine arguing on the internet thinking your opinion matters

It doesn’t. I’m curious what the other person is thinking to have the position they have though.

And this is why you earn the responses you get from me. I’ve clearly stated my position and brought the evidence for it. Your counter to it is “well, my opinion is” and treat it like fact. This is why you get nothing and deserve less.

We are talking about raid difficulty here and pull count is a good metrics for boss difficulty.

Addons give much more than “control”. In some cases the remove player making decision factor, which is bad.

And that’s why it’s pointless to try to prove something to you, because you will always fall back to “Blizz are lying about their intentions”.
