Which one? The one that felt that giving millions to other countries while our own people suffered, was a bad idea? It was a loaded bill, when it could and should of been very a straight forward. “Give each American X money because of the times.”
I expect if all those extra things (like 10 Million for Gender studies to Pakistan which any intelligent human knows very well will NOT be spent on that by them), were nixed our Government could of given everyone 5k if they spent money us instead of their foreign interests?
Because that was what I took away after reading all the other things in the bill.
Seriously we need a law requiring Congress under penalty to answer “Yes” or “No”, when people ask very simple and straight forward questions about any given position. As Vol’jin once said “You know if their trying to kill you, your asking the right questions.”
I am utterly sick of all politicians of both parties who take simple yes or no’s and then pause, and say: “Well first you need to understand… Alright time’s up I have to go.” Simplistic bills that solve one problem are always better than massive bills that try to solve a million problems, and yet can’t be implemented.
I literally would say “Shut up and answer the damned question simply. Yes? Or No?” if I interviewed one.
One is still greater than Zero after all.

i make 180K a year, all I had to do is put in an average amount of effort. My IRA is worth over 5 million dollars… all I had to do is stick away 300 bucks a week since 2008. I’m in my early 30s. Instead of whining and expecting me to do something for you, you should do it yourself. Tired of all the lefty babies on here. Can’t wait to get my 600 bucks, just gotta figure out what to buy with it.

THATS MY POINT. Which means that these companies could literally leave the U.S. without looking back. That’s why we don’t have 90% corpo tax rates.

Yup, grew up in a poor black ghetto. I’ve seen first hand just how much both sides care about people of color. Funniest thing about being in the middle of the LA riots was me remembering seeing vehicles with license plates from different states & the people from those vehicles burn down my childhood apartment & the surrounding buildings.
