I finally got a nintendo switch, in form of the new nintedo switch lite, which luckily was in stock at a walmart I went to. I got the yellow one. I always loved gameboy and I consider this a modern gameboy.
I have been holding off buying a switch because of the rumors that “other types were coming.” Anyhow I’m so happy, because I got Donkey Kong in arcade classics, and it plays beautifully. Controls are solid.
Who else here is a nintendo fan? Anyone planning on buying the lite version?
I’m a fan of Nintendo. I have a switch and am thinking about getting a lite, still thinking on that. (my fiance and I want to battle each other in Pokemon Sword and Shield, hence the need for a 2nd console)
I heard that the lite might be annoying to use for breath of the wild with its motion controls? but I still need to look into that.
Honestly, I’d give anything for a N64 Atomic Purple Switch/Switch lite colour scheme. (not the 3rd party supplier cases). I’m likely to buy the grey lite or the Pokemon lite. Not a fan of the teal blue and I’d prefer a banana yellow over what it is.

I can see it, I know there’s at least one of the puzzle dungeons where you use motion controls to control a platform that a ball is rolling on and it’s a bit more of a pain using it with the joycons attached (plus if you are using a controller you can cheese it by flipping the platform over to ignore the maze on it) But I’m nearly positive the announcement video said you can pair up other controllers to it.

I’m unsure about that Zelda game as I have yet to acquire it. I’m planning on buying it by January of 2020 though, and will let you know here about the motion controls when I get it, for what its worth.
I’ve been playing classic wow this week mostly but did play a substantial amount of “Super Mario Maker 2” and I enjoy using it to play that game for sure. The price for the lite is 200$ compared to 300$ and apparently nintendo fought real hard with suppliers of technology to keep the price point at 200$ so I’d consider that one for your fiance to play Pokemon Sword and Shield. I do think they are releasing a Pokemon theme of the lite, but unsure. Isn’t it cool the tradition of having main Pokemon games on dedicated handhelds is maintained? I personally was very concerned about a year ago it was going to be broken.
Bought a switch lite two days ago. It’s the first handheld anything I’ve owned since the days of Gameboy. Wanted to buy a regular switch but I’ve always hesitated just because of its size. The lite is quite nice in the hand. I got breath of the wild and have been playing it for a few hours- no issues so far, but I’m also not very far in. Can’t wait to play witcher 3 on it!
