I am trying to unlock the Kul’Tiran race. So naturally I’m going to use my only high level Alliance character which is my NE Demon Hunter, her right here.
Only problem is, I dropped playing her at some random point through BFA and I’m struggling to find any ‘Main Quest’ path to guide me here.
I’ve been running some completion check macros trying to find out where I am… but hOLY CRAP. I’ve never been so lost in my entire life.
Where do I go?? I do not have achievement Tides of Vengeance or A Nation United.
I don’t think you need to make multiple threads about this. I believe there are sites you can use that will check your quest completion. Hopefully someone can help you with that.
Yes Wowhead will do it. You have to have an account and sign in. Add the character in question to your profile. Look up on wow head the requirements for the unlock. Mouse over the achievement/quests show there and you will get a little green checkmark if you have completed that requirement.

The fact that I have to go through 3rd-party hoops to get even some direction for these unlocking quests is getting on my nerves though.

As someone who skipped Legion presently trying to go back and unlock Nightborne, I feel your pain. Absolutely nothing is obvious about this process. Not really sure why Blizzard never thought, hey, maybe we could make it a little more user-friendly for people wanting to unlock these core features? 
(Edit to add before anyone jumps on me unnecessarily: I’m not saying they should remove unlock requirements, just make it easier to see where to begin fulfilling these requirements.)
I don’t even remember any of the other ARs being this complicated to figure out, but it’s been a while since I unlocked all the others, so maybe that’s just memory bias. KTs I know are a whole lot of just doing the whole war campaign, which is at least pretty easy to follow once you get onto the right track …

At the time it didn’t feel complicated but I can see the issue coming at it after the fact, made even worse if you were half way through it trying to come back to it. I don’t disagree however that it would be good to have more information in game. Not everyone likes having to google or look up 3rd party sites to know what needs doing
Who cares if someone jumps on you? I only indulge those ppl when I’m bored. It’s a “them” issue, not yours.
They should make things easier to understand. I felt like I needed a doctorate degree to work the queens conservatory.
