Checked in on both discords, it seems in order to remain competitive population wise, many Nightfall players and guilds have decided to roll on Mutanus. This seems like the wisest play and might make it the 2nd highest pop server. If you’re like me and don’t have any inclination to play in the cesspool that is Jom Gabbar, I’d suggest rolling on Mutanus

It looks like that’s what’s happening. I was originally going to play on Nightfall since I can’t raid east coast times, but now that Mutanus is the unofficial RPPvP it seems to be taking over. I’m not an RPer, nor does it bother me, I just want to play on the server with more people.

Im not an RP-er either but the community in Grobbulus was the best i’d ever been a part of and im excited to see a super healthy positive population again

Currently, Barman Shanker and Mutanus are vying for the spot of 2nd most populated server. Jom Gabbar remains on top by a large margin, but Shanker and Mutanus are shaping up to be decent medium pop realms with decent faction balance, distinguished by time zone, and the fact that Mutanus is the de facto RP-PvP realm.

but in my perfect world there is a official EST RP server, because I will be honest I am expecting world PVP to be cancer for the first month or two but not being AS bad as phase 2 classic, but still annoying as DUCK
Levelling during phase 2 on Grobulus was the most fun this game has ever been for me.

I dont keep up with the discords. But out of the 2 west coast pvp servers, which one has the horde majority?
There are more Horde and a closer balance on Mutanus.
Mutanus is best ratio
Alliance has 300 more reps than the Horde on the official server discord, but okay…
It will be one of the best servers… MUTANUS GOGOGOGOGOGO - but unfortunatey the first couple of weeks the que is igoing to be… well… dog butt.
I rolled Mutanus. I am not a RPer. Is this going to be a problem? I just picked a West coast PVP server. I don’t care if people RP, but will it have the same stuff as normal PVP just with some RPing? Don’t want a dead server either. I don’t have the time to afford to reroll at level 50.
It’s not an official RP server and even if it was you are under no obligation to RP. I’ve played on numerous RP servers throughout my time on WoW despite never actually RP’ing. The RP servers usually just have people who are more likely to be into doing server oriented events and organized World PvP activities. The people who do RP don’t really care if you don’t RP. People who are into RP just don’t want to be griefed/harassed is all.
