Nightborne

So… by the time you finish the Nightborne questline you’re Exalted… I guess there was no kind of shortcut that could have been made so they actually benefitted from the pre-patch rep req change…? Sigh.

Yeah Right lmao absolutely nothing changed for Nightborne

Worst part is, I just noticed that the Alliance get two races for a single achievement, and it only has 3 criteria. Geez.

You would have been able to unlock Nightborne, Highmountain, Void Elves and LF Draenei when allied races were announced just by playing their related content when it was all relevant in legion. It was only a grind for any of them if you didn’t play legion.

Also the Alliance races required to be exalted with their own respective faction, lets not pretend that Blizzard was being unfair in this instance.

Well considering we still look, move, and have no new options to look less like angry prunes :expressionless: dude, don’t sweat it. Wait until if/when they update Nightborne models.

Back in legion you still had to grind rep. In the BFA pre patch I believe they increased rep gains in legion by 100% or something.

That could be why the story was enough now.

The point of a thread regarding the prepatch changes in rep requirement sorta negates whether someone played that content when it was current… and the Alliance races don’t require that any longer… so yeah, seems pretty unfair actually. None of the Horde races overlap, and the Nightborne one is insanely long in comparison. What was needed before pre-patch is not relevant to either of those facts.

Suramar is one of the coolest zones/stories in the game. While I understand most people just want the allied race, at this point, the questline to get to that point is a ton of fun.

If by “fun” you mean “horrendously boring torture”, yes.

To each their own. I thoroughly enjoyed the espionage-style missions inside the city.

I agree with this and also you’ve had a looooong time to get this achievement. I played casually for a few months in Legion and got exalted with all the reps.
