Agreed. Stance is awful. Legs are too skinny. I want my female warrior to look good in armor and look like a female.

Nightborne are really cute they just need some more options to bring them up to par with other races. And they should STAND like Night Elves

iirc the beta version of racials had something like this but Blizzard thought it was useful and fit with the lore so they removed it :upside_down_face:

All allied races need some love. I want my Lightforged to at least have the same ammount of customization the regular Draenei have.

Bumping this again. I don’t want this to get lost in the sea of BfA’s other issues, which is the main reason I think it hasn’t been addressed yet.

The NPC to player conversion for Nightborne has been awful. We look completely different from the race we were presented as being.

ya cannot fix the great flaw of nightborne, they are all junkies or ex junkies, it alters them in not good ways.

They are always tempted to betray everything for the next fix.

I’d love to see a “Facial Hair” or “Features” tab added for more options. I do agree that the faces are Night Elf rip offs but then again Nightborne were Night Elves long before.

There’s also something I’ve been dreaming about for years and it’s the option to add body features for each race (if applicable) for example, Nightborne have normal healthy look then they have the Nightfallen look and finally Withered. With that said, another part of this dream is to have the Undead race have a variety of undead races but I know it probably wouldn’t fit.

People need to stop associating the badly made models to the lore.

The Nightborne don’t look terrible because they used to be magic addicts or related to the night elves. Not because they are in “recovering addict mode”.

They look terrible because they were rushed, not given enough development time. Because slapping a blue coat of paint on a night elf and calling it a day was the fastest they could do to bait people into pre-ordering their terrible expansion and make shareholders all peachy. In contrast to actually giving a fleshed out race what they deserve.

I wish to sign your proposal for more visible tattoos. Really have no idea what Blizzard was thinking when they went with a specular shine instead of a constantly visible self-illuminated texture.

So glad you said this and fleshed it out, I love Nightborne and was so excited for their inclusion as a playable race, but all their flaws ruin it entirely and I refuse to play one for that very reason.

I just want to look like the NPC’s.

Why is that so hard to ask for? Rig them to make them playable by the PC. When I steal their appearances, I can do every animation that a PC does perfectly. I don’t care that the clothes are tied to the skeleton or whatever excuse that’s constantly made about why they can’t work.

I want what was advertised. What we got is not what was advertised.

The new PC Nightbornes look like a totally different species to the NPC’s. I don’t want to be a dollar-store Night elf.

Even though this is not a “fix” I would love seeing male nightborne and night elves getting some proper animations and models, they look hideous, it’s no wonder 2.5/3 of the night elves/nightborne players choose the female model, it’s better in every single way possible.

I hope in the future Blizzard will give more to the Nightborne race as far as features go. I WOULD LOVE THE FACIAL FEATURES PLEASE…

All that work for Suramar Rep and all those quests for a Night Elf rip off…

Very good well constructed post that put all of my issues with the Nightborne in better words than I could. I know development of character models take time, so I wouldn’t expect major changes any time soon, but hopefully the racials at least can been looked over.

Except they used the nelf model as a starting point so most of the model work was done instead of making one from scratch. I saw the first “models” which was just a skin job on a nelf instead of using the existing nightborne models.

We have the animations we have cause people pushed for it but even then a lot of corners where cut.
