After the last pass of customization improvements, I think we look dashing. Still looking for unique animations though.
Plainly put, the developers did a poor job translating the NPC Nightborne to a playable model. The developers could have gone in any direction in fleshing out the playable Nightborne, but they chose to release a rush job that players were nearly unanimous in criticizing.
Personally, I think this is what male Nightborne should look like, but with blue/gray/purple skin:

But yeah, a lot of the issues stem from some odd choices Blizzard made with the male night elf model.
At least we have wrists.
