I’m making a Nightborne mage, and i was wondering if there were any staffs that could match the heritage armor.
I know finding matching gear sometimes for the heritage armors is rough. I’m still trying to find something that looks good with the Draenei heritage (which, i love the armor, but its rough finding matching weapons)
Well obviously you can go to the transmog guy and go through the staffs. Take a look at what the Trading Post has. Would that do what you want?
There is a staff you can buy with Legion timewalking that is Nightborne themed. I dunno if you can get it elsewhere, though. I used it all the time on my Nightborne, and still use it anyway because I love it.
The timewalking vendor has other Nightborne weapons too.
Ah man. I don’t look at timewalking vendors… when the heck is the next legion timewalking? Cause i know the next one is warlords, i just can’t remember past that
The actual matching nightborne weapon models are available from the legion timewalking vendor. There’s a staff, a 1h sword, a shield, and I think a 1h mace. Not sure. In any case, there is definitely a staff.
Apparently August 6th, so that is not too bad.
In the mean time, while not Nightborne themed, the staff off Azshara in the Eternal Palace is elegant and quite nice. Comes in a few colours depending on difficulty.
I’m still bitter about them teasing us with the double-bladed staff on the PTR and then removing it from the vendor before it went live.

When the Legion TW vendor was first implemented and appeared on the PTR, this was one of their offerings:
It was a 1h sword, presumably so tanks could use it with the shield like the Suramar guards do.
Alas, it was nixed before Legion TW went live. There was never an answer as to why it was removed, but the assumption at the time was a mix of “it might look silly when dual wielded” and “people might mistake it for a warglaive for some reason.”
Whatever the reason, hopefully Blizz gets over it and actually adds it and similar weapons (like the Silvermoon guard’s version) at some point.
Yes. I wish they would. They’ve already added a collection of “glaive” looking weapons that are in the one-handed sword category (the ones similar to what the night elf sentinels use). I want that dual-blade and shield from the silvermoom guards for my blood elf paladin
Calendar tends to change during expansion patches cause they try to make sure certain weeks don’t pop up within the first couple weeks of a season.
Aluneth, the arcane mage artifact weapon has several appearances that suit the Nightborne armor perfectly
Right, fair enough. I forgot to take in account the season ending/pre-patch stuff.
The staff to match the nightborne heritage armor is sold by the timewalking vendor during legion timewalking. That vendor also sells things like a sword and shield in the nightborne style as well as a mace I think
