Nightborne heritage armor is the worst!

I can’t even begin to say how disappointed I am after taking about a week to level a Nightborne to get the Heritage armor set.

One little detail ruins the WHOLE set as a female Nightborne.

Why would anyone think that a metal freakin’ goatee on a female Nightborne was a good idea? It sticks out like Jay Leno’s giant butt chin and looks awful!

“Whats the big deal?” you say, “Just turn off the helm and it’ll be fine!”

That was my first thought, too, but for some completely inexplicable reason, this metalic Shaggy cosplay is TIED TO THE F#%$NG CHEST PIECE!

Immeasurable disappointment.

It’s hideous.

Nightborne in general are terrible, they’re basically just flat chested Night Elves and look nothing like their NPC counterparts. The first 4 allied races we got are honestly all pretty pathetic tbh.

Everything about that race in its playable form is pretty awful.

Nightborne would have made me go Horde. Then I saw their faces. Guess that fruit tree didn’t do a good enough job.

Not to mention, the customization is awful.

  • Three skin choices: Pale, Dark Blue and Purple.
  • Six faces: Three old ones, one constipated, and one normal looking one.
  • Six hair styles: All pretty awful.
  • Six hair colors: Some are pretty.
  • Six earring styles: Some decent, some look weird.
  • Four tattoo styles: They look nice, but they are very faded and can only been seen while wearing skimpy armour. Wish they looked like pulsing runes.

They really dropped the ball on them. I hope that the upcoming expansion pack expands on their customization greatly. I mean, they still have the Night Elf skeleton, and their same dance. So lame.

I actually really like the Nightborne Heritage Armour. Well, the female one, the male one is eeeh. I don’t mind the chin attachment, though I could give or take it. I love everything else about the armour however.

I absolutely agree about the customisations though. The faces look off, they’re too short, and they missing many features the NPCs do. For instance the hairstyle I use is common on the NPCs, but on them is moves around freely. On me it’s stuck to my back. Also, the mana effect in Nightborne hair. I used to think it was a limitation of character creation that caused us not to have it, but then Dark Irons came out with their fire hair. So… why can’t we have mana hair?

I find it funny so many heritage armors have the option of a tunic or robe, Nightborne only has the robe.

Actually, I agree with that too. I would have loved the top being separate from the skirt and to be able to mix and match with different items like you can with the armour the Blood Elves got (for example).

Can we just get all four original ARs remade, pls, Blizzard? They’re all so bad, lmao.

the metal chin piece is cool though. it’s not a goatee.

also, you’re playing a forsaken race. they don’t care anything about nightborne. look at your heritage armor, it’s bugged all to pieces, and has been since 8.2, and they’ve known about it since then, because i reported it. they won’t fix it.

they didn’t give them the proper models, they won’t fix their heritage armor, someone with power at blizzard despises this race, and i wish i knew why.

jesus there is no hope for the future is there?

I’m not here to comfort you, but I respect your opinion.

I agree.

Nightborne are sh*t.

…I rolled one and got them to mythic raiding before I truly looked in the mirror and than further realised I had like, 3 haircuts to choose from.

Never let anything distract you from the fact that LF Draenei and Nightborne only have three skin colors.

Would you like to know what a slap in the face is?

Three SKIN COLORS. That’s a SLAP in the face.

Literally the one thing everyone wanted when playing nightborne was a metal chinplate lol.

Getting unfinished Allied races is part of Alliance bias chief

The worst part of it is that the goatee is a part of the robe, not the helmet lol. So you have to remove the most iconic piece of the set to not have to deal with it. It’d be less bad if it was a part of the helmet.

I think they should just have two robe/helmet options, one with and one without.

Come on you guys…its just Horde Night Elves…

Also I feel like this is why you shouldnt ask for everything under the sun to be an Allied Race, granted they were one of the first four…

I absolutely love nightborne but they got shafted.

Every time I see one that looks good I make sure to tell them. There’s a lot of good looking female nightborne but the males… I saw one awesome warrior and that’s it

Have to agree that Nightborne Heritage armor would have been better with the ability to hide the chin cup and skirt.

Though to be fair most robes need this option to hide the bottom half so you can use other transmogs for the legs.
