Why can’t they be druids? The botanist raid bosses had a nature affinity and the player area of Suramar city has a ton of Grove-Tender NPC’s taking care of the plant life. Surely Nightborne could learn to be Druids.
That botanist has zero connection to the Emerald Dream and only manipulated nature using arcane.
The Druid Class consists of actual Druids. Not fakes or people who abuse nature magic or bend it to their will.
Also, liking plants =/= Druid.
Druids didn’t really become popular in night elf society until after the War of the Ancients, when Suramar was already under the shield. They never had any interest or knowledge or connection to it. They were cut off from nature, everything was 100% arcane focused through the Nightwell.
Interest and research into botany isn’t the same as being a druid.
Mechagnomes as druids make more sense than Nightborne. Finding balance in nature through mechanization.
Gonk taught Zandalari how to be druids.
Also I thought kultiran druids are taught by an entity from the shadowlands?
Neither were hunters or warlocks but Nightborne can be those classes…I feel like they were given priest so monk wouldn’t be their only healing class.
coughs Kul Tirans coughs
Love you Grumbles, but I don’t really qualify that as druids. Druids tend to nature through the emerald dream, and mechagon is like the opposite of that. It is a junkyard of scrap, a wasteland of electricity and caustic experiments.
Kul Tiran draw their power from Ardenweald, the Shadowlands version of the Emerald Dream.
Aye, but still not technically the Emerald Dream.
Gonk taught Zandalari because they had a connection and had coexisted for so long. He provides their link to the Emerald Dream.
The Kul Tirans were taught by a Ulfar, who has a connection to Ardenweald which is essentially the Emerald Dream of the Shadowlands.
(blushes) Aw… thank you. I don’t really either but the Nightborne don’t work at all but I so want little mechanical forms lol.
Druid =/= likes plants. It’s more than just being a nemophilist.
Because they lived in the mean streets full of demons.
Kul Tirans have a connection. It’s through Ulfar and the Winter Queen. Again, their magic is Druidic DEATH magic.
Yes, you’re right. It’s the version of Death & Rebirth, instead of Life. Which is why their forms are wicker based and themed on death magic.
Night elf got mage, but i prefer not to write incorrections by bringing up another incorrection.
I oppose all forms of any highborne offshoot druids.
Dream is a titan construct.
Shadowlands "therefore " is not a titan construct.
So you’re saying Undead Druids could potentially become a thing?
No. Because Undead don’t go to Ardenweald. Only Druids or nature spirits go there.
For like 2 weeks…
Yes, based on the Shadowlands. I think that they absolutely could be.
