Intro:
We are a group of left-leaning gamers based in US-EST. We have come together to form a guild so that we can enjoy all of the wonderful adventures Classic World Of Warcraft has to offer in a chill, toxicity free environment. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly and will work diligently to create an inclusive atmosphere in the Coven.
<Night Witches> takes its name from the Soviet Union’s all-female WWII 558th Night Bomber Regiment. Given obsolete modified wooden crop duster biplanes and forced to fly without parachutes and radar, the Night Witches terrorized the Germans in over 23,000 sorties with their unconventional tactics. Their stealthy techniques left them invisible to radar, like witches flying on wooden broomsticks through the night.
Goals:
Our initial guild focus is leveling up, running dungeons, world PVP, while fostering a social atmosphere with fun events. Expect deployments deep into Alliance territory for group PVP events, raids on capital cities and quest hubs, and lockdowns of entire zones. We will also have non PVP events like scavenger hunts, costume contests, and expeditions to the coolest hidden places in Azeroth like Hyjal, Shatterspear Village, Outland, Old Ironforge and more.
Raiding:
Once we have enough members, we hope to raid 1-2 times per week, tentatively Wed/Sun, at a casual to semi-hardcore pace. We want you to choose a race, class and spec based on what YOU want to play. Enjoyment is the first step towards consistency. We don’t require raiders to min-max their class, however, the willingness to take constructive criticism and better yourself is required. We aim to strike the balance between progressing through content at a reasonable pace and freedom of player choice. We welcome theorycrafters, and people who think outside the box with their strategies.
We are looking for Raiders, PvPers, RPers and Casuals of all walks of life to join our Coven and be a part of our vibrant, growing community. Officer, crafter, and class leadership positions are open for those who are interested.
