It sounds like you’re a hyper masculine misogynist that has a problem with having feminine qualities on your RPG character. It’s 2020 and I suggest you grow up.
There’s nothing that aesthetically fits my character, so it’s about the powers. And sometimes Spear of Bastion would be handy for the AoE and CC. Sometimes Condemn is good in single target situations. So one is good for PVP and content where you face lots of enemies, the other when facing bosses.
I still can’t choose, and probably won’t. I’ll just wait for them to react like they had to for artifact weapons initially, and azerite armor. It’s far better that way.

Anyway , the overall lore of the Player Character seem to point at the fact that we’re just blank slate Mary Sues anyway as we’re “Titan Souls” so regardless of whatever race or class we pick we’re all the same.
So you can be the edgiest jawless Undead DK with an army of undeads following you, you want to save baby bears cause that’s what heroes do.

Edit: from other posts it seems like night fae is good for death knights. My confidence in Blizzard to make Covenants terrible is restored.
I mean, Beta players have said Venthyr is a strong second option. Its just not brokenly strong as Night Fae is.

You dont create unique choices by freaking removing them.
Not sure if you’ve noticed, but buffs/nerfs come few months later in big patches.
By then they might cave in and let people change covenant abilities.

Corrupted gear was imbalanced to the point of breaking the game.
Covenant abilities will be like azerite traits, some very weak, some very strong and go to picks.
You didn’t see azerite traits get buffed and nerfed in 8.0 or 8.1 did you?
