Night Fae Chapter 5 broken

Currently working on Chapter 5 of the Night Fae campaign, I have two quests ready to turn in, a third quest symbol is visible on the map but there is no quest giver there, and when I go to turn in the two I’ve completed theres no one there either. Went on Wowhead and apparently this problem was reported in Beta back in JULY … nice job there Blizz … absolutely amazing work …

Having same issue. Cannot pick up Broken Webs, and cannot turn in Spriggan Snares or A Little Pruning.

Edit: needed to abandon A Little Pruning to respawn the NPC, then accept Broken Webs VERY QUICKLY before he despawns again.

That did it, thank you! Blizz still needs to get this fixed though.

I have it worse. I had already turned in A Little Pruning and Broken Webs and now I can’t complete Spriggan Snares

Weird. Somehow it completed for me, no problem.

Is it a phasing issue maybe? WQ messing with it?

The issue I had has been hotfixed already

You should definitely submit a bug report for that.

Joining in here as I have elsewhere. Did the same thing, turned in first two and he vanished. Wife completed all 3 , picked a herb to the side which phased him out. Dropped quests, he never respawned. Both of us stuck on this for hours with ticket in and bug reports from many people, with no response beyond a form letter saying they are swamped with tickets try the usual fixes, which we both had already done.

Has not been fixed. If you abandon one of the quests and re-accept it at 41, 50 (where you picked up the first two quests), you can turn in one quest before he despawns again, but now that I’m down to Broken Webs, he is perma-despawned and I have no way to turn the quest in. I can see elk NPCs running around - is Quadarin supposed to accompany you at this part of the quest chain? Because that never happened for me.

Same here, worked fine for me. I never had to abandon any quests or do anything though so idk. I hope you guys get fix soon.

This happened to me. I googled it went to wow head and figured it out.

If it’s a phasing issue, to me it’s an invisible one. I do not have a world quest visible on the map anywhere near this grove.

Best solution I’ve found is quest syncing with someone before they pick up any of the quests, and the moment they accept the sync he should spawn and allow you to return them all if you’re quick enough.

Did all 3 never had elk follow me. No turn-in NPC. Abandoned all three, turned in 1, now NPC perma-gone and can’t turn in 3rd. can’t even pick up 2nd anymore.

This happened to me, if you sync with someone who hasn’t started/completed them yet he should spawn and allow you to turn the quests you need in.

Yep, down to 1 quest i cant turn in and the core quest chain is bricked.

If you’re coming back to this later, what worked for me was giving up, logging off for IRL time, doing 2 Torghast runs, and then coming back to Ardenweald. See if taking a break, particularly if an instance is involved, will help.

had this happen to me,

You need to abandon the quest and redo it.

This happens if you took a que into BG or dungeon in the middle of the quest

Same thing happened to me.

I dropped the quests then completed the WQ in the same area where you use a bear avatar to kill spriggans, then picked up the quest again and completed without any problems.

My daughter just ran into this and we have not yet found a work-around to make it possible to turn in the Spriggan Snares quest. She didn’t know you had to properly order the quest turn in and the other two were turned-in fine.

I just had this glitch happen myself and I got the stag to pop up twice first I had just come out of the raid and was planning to catch up and second was after hearthing and coming back but he only showed up for like 10 seconds, pretty sure we are getting stuck in a WQ phase as I think someone already mentioned I recommend doing the quests hearthing and coming back for turn in, thats what worked for me but I had to turn in quick or he disappeared.
