During the Night Fae quest where you are doing a play, got to the part where I had to defeat Jaina Proudmoore.
I was at the time qued up for a battleground and it popped right before this event started. I accepted the bg, entered it with a blizzard and chilled effect on my character. I promptly left the bg, finished the play quest-- as well as accepting and finishing the subsequent quest hoping it would be removed.
This effect will not go away, i logged out, used my hearthstone, and also used the character stuck service which never removed the effect.
Side note — this is really not the area to be submitting a issues for characters being bugged out. Ya’ll really need to add a talk to a person option for things that fall outside your canned topics. This probably wont be addressed for days. So I’m basically left without playing this particular character for days. Bring back the talk to a gm in game.
–UPDATE— was resolved in game via another support option. Was informed that dying can remove the effect. so just gotta limp on over to die somewhere if this happens to you as well.
