I’ve hit a wall (for almost 3 weeks now) where my initial 2 Soulbind followers are around level 30, and all of the available missions are level 57-60 with no way to level up any of my followers. Any new followers I have gotten since are sitting below level 15 because no matter what the comp, I can’t successfully complete the missions. I send them out every day wasting anima just to get the scraps of XP from failing a mission to level them up.
There needs to be +XP missions available or some way to access lower level missions regardless of your campaign progress, otherwise what’s the point?
Is anyone else having this issue? Dreamweaver and Niya are level 34 and everything else is crazy low. The adventures all have 12k+ HP and 800-1200 attack. Do I just give up on the adventure table?
Ugh the accuracy. For real, I just wanted the mounts and such, did the missions and somehow ended up here, unable to progress and stuck in a loop
Hopefully they come up with something, it’s getting annoying seeing every other covenant in the hotfix notes getting mission table tweaks and still dealing with this issue everytime I log in or check my app.
guess who doesn’t have this “problem?” oh thats right, me. night fae. just opened my table this morning cuz i knew eventually it would be nerf batted into oblivion and didn’t wanna potentially get myself banned for exploiting.
I wasn’t even aware that there was an exploit until reading it on here after the fact… The campaign progression missions were so easy, what would they ban you for?
blizz perma’d rogues who used engi items to cheese lk when it did exactly what it said it was gonna do. if blizz gets a wild hair- even things you think would be okay aren’t.
I guess but the matter of the fact is the system is flawed, if they’re going to funnel us followers every week starting at level 1, there needs to be a catch up mechanic otherwise they sit at level 1 and level up exponentially slower than your other followers. It doesn’t really feel rewarding to just suicide mission your followers a few times a day…
Hrmm I don’t think it needs changing (as someone pretty caught up on Night Fae).
It will get easier as you level your followers up more. (I ended up only taking my missions up to the high twenties because I knew I was going to be spamming Torghast).
It will be easier eventually but just a struggle for now as your missions greatly outweighs your pawns.
It will, after months of failing mission but the fact that the system can get to this point with no way around it or to correct it kind of blatantly shows poor design, wouldn’t you say? Would it not just make more sense for the missions to scale with your followers? All the past mission tables had some way for your lower level/rarity followers to partake in mission without having to fail over and over for months, I’m sure blizzard can figure out a way to do it again…
It’ll take a long time and investment to finally level them.
As soon as I get a new hero i focus level them as soon I as recruit them. I drop one person from my top team and run XP quests to quickly level the new recruit. I picked up Hala last night and she’ll be level 17 or more tonight. Usually I’ll get them to 20 and then let them lead 4 foot soldiers on the lower difficulty quests.
Bu leveling all the heroes, any drop in foot soldier level is not as painful. My foot soldiers were level 39 when I picked up Hala and then they dropped to 38.
I mean, to the people saying people shouldn’t have exploited, you’re just showing how ignorant you are.
The ONLY thing Night Fae had going for it were Dreamweaver and the troops.
Now it’s just Dreamweaver. And she can’t carry things by herself.
Night Fae need a buff in the vein that Kyrian and Venthyr got now.
This is coming from someone with all 4 covenants at level 30+ on their adventurers. Night Fae are BY FAR the weakest now, to the point I can’t complete most missions, even lower level ones.
Meanwhile, my Necrolord has level ~35 troops and has cleared 3/4 of the mount (level 60) missions.
The one question you haven’t addressed, is if you can’t do an anima mission below your level, what makes you think you can do an xp mission below your level?

Due to Dreamweaver and 4x Trappers being beyond stupid. You were able to complete missions almost double your level. Think about that. And as a result, you, like a lot of other Night Fae players, chose to ignore every other follower(note I said a lot, not all). And now you are struggling at a wall. It’s your own fault man.
Meanwhile, Venthyr and Kyrian followers struggled to beat missions they were 10 levels higher. And yet, Night Fae literally had a free pass on everything, even stuff double their level. (the recent buffs helped Kyrian and Venthyr a lot though).
Still, you wont get sympathy from me. You abused your way to max level missions while ignoring all but 2 of your followers. Suffer as we’ve been having to do from the start. Suicide your followers.

The difference being, Night Fae still had a free pass due to Dreamweaver and Trappers. Of which, if you cheesed your way to level 60 missions by utilizing 1 follower and Trapper spam, yea.
Boohoo, I ignored all my followers except one and now I’m struggling after the broken Trappers got fixed. Get over yourself. Suicide your followers like WE have been having to from the start due to how crap they were. Night Fae followers are still very solid when compared to other Covenant followers. But of course they will struggle when, cough people like you cheesed your way to high level missions.
The buffed Venthyr and Kyrian followers would still struggle too, if they were going against missions double their level. But we never had the option to cheese. We had to level everything and outlevel missions by 5-10 to have any chance of beating it.
So hush. Suicide your followers. Dwell on the karma of your free pass for the last couple months being over.
Tell me, did you do that with only 1 Necrolord follower spamming troops? No. So it’s no where similar.
My Necrolord has level 30-35 followers and is completing the level 60 missions. You know, the ones that even Dreamweaver/4 Trappers couldnt complete until Dreamweaver was like level 40?
