Night Elves from Warcraft III in World of Warcraft

I really want the Night Elves we know from Warcraft III be back. I don’t want Night Elves hippies in Word of Warcraft because they are more than that. I want the powerful, savage, experienced and wise warriors from Warcraft III be back.

They owned their own faction, their own army, their own allies and their own territories in Warcraft III.

Some examples:

  • Tyrande should teach things for Varian and not the opposite .
Tyrande is urging King Varian Wrynn to take decisive action and charge the temple by force in the In the A Little Patience scenario (MoP). But she is a very experimented warrior with 10 000 years of fighting big threats, so I think she knows the patience better than Varian.
  • We need to wait the burning of Teldrassil to show us how Night Elves know really to fight like in Warcraft III.
  • The Tyrande vs Nathanos fight is how the Night Elves should be seen and how they should fight.
  • Their warriors are not to be taken lightly either. The night elves are among the most deadly adversaries to be found anywhere, due to a combination of their proficient skill with a bow, their stunning agility, and the ability to melt away into the shadows of the night.
  • Malfurion, a powerful character, is always sleeping or capturing in World of Warcraft despite being one of the most powerful druid in the world. One time in World of Warcraft the game we see him using his great druid powers and it was during the Battle for Darkshore .

We really need to get the Night Elves from Warcraft III in World of Warcraft.

Here are some pictures of what Night Elves should really be:

Even trolls are no longer savages, and you want elves. We’re all morally good sophisticated modern humans in WoW, that appreciate every race and culture equally

My night elf druid already looks like those

BFA disagrees. You Hordies love committing War Crimes then play the victim.

The Night Elves of WoW are like the carcass of a great beast that had nearly everything unique or even remotely useful about it harvested and repurposed until nothing was left except the barest of bones. A skeletal outline in the sand that could only hint at what once was.

1> Maybe but now Tyrande doesn’t change that moment if she slew the Wardens and jumped into the Maw.
2> The Darkshore warfront does a neat display as the horde were resorted to using blight and shredders to handle the night elves.
5> Malfurion could’ve wiped out Sylvanas and the Incarnates, funny that he is supposedly growing stronger in Ardenweald.

Bit late for that one I’m afraid.

Not too sure what this means but feels a bit too late too.

Sleep was a common downside to Malfurion and the druids since the RPS. It’s why Tyrande and the Sentinels ran/protected Nightelf society, cause the Druids were busy “doing nature stuff”.

Other than all that I agree I wish the nightelves portrayed the story from the RPS better but it feels like the damage is done.

bfa was two expansions ago and was half-written by old blizzard team (that’s why second half is so borked), it doesn’t matter anymore with current writers.

It’s not happening.

Night Elves in the modern narrative are either psychopaths or victims. It doesn’t seem like they’re going to change it up.

Which is a real shame, I say.

Everything about BfA was borked. Has nothing to do with “current writers”.

no, i think questing zones were pretty good for both factions. Especially horde ones. War campaign taken over by our dear friend Steve was bad.

Questing zones are always good, and over-arching story is pretty much always stupid.

That’s a facet of how WoW tells stories in general, not which writer is in charge.

Get them out of the Alliance and you will see them.

Meanwhile, all powerful races can’t shine over the Human Potential. Though perhaps Orc centrism in the Horde might hold them back too… But that faction is more diverse in its leadership focus, so…

i hate shadowlands questing. In all zones. Too much “walk by my side and listen” type quests, very annoying. And almost no funny quests.

You’ll never get the Blizzard of today to re-embrace boldness in sexuality as presented in the levels of bare skin and ample bosoms as presented in these screenshots.

Which automatically means any attempt to make the Night Elves seem “epic” once more, will likely be met by failure due to extremes of social norms at the office.
