You don’t need to suffer for Blizzard’s mistakes. They did not give us the ability to learn two handed axes, maces, or swords in glorious home city of Darnassus. But there is hope. Grind out 10 silver and learn staves. Suffer not the low DPS/High death life of trying to level with sword and board. Sure every alliance warrior starts with sword and board. But night elves are the only race that has to trek across a hellish murderswamp in order to learn a basic skill every warrior needs. Just learn staves. Do it.

Grab a staff. Do actual damage.

But how do the staves compare to the fishing pole you get from the Darkshore quest? If 10s is a lot as a lowbie, then go for that x
