Paladin makes sense. Warlocks make zero sense.

Tauren Rogues make zero sense.

There’s lore behind it. “How does a Tauren hide in a cherry tree? He paints his hooves red.”

No one cares bro when r some of you gonna stop acting like lore matters when it comes to race & class combos anymore. They’ve already shown they’re open to more race & class combos. They through the lore out the window a long time ago.

Well, not to be Captain Obvious, but since those combos don’t exist now, that means there’s a reason for it. I can admit when some reasons are bad reasons, but I can also explain why they aren’t it.

I can’t help it if you don’t find lore mattering. Fact is they aren’t certain classes for a reason. :person_shrugging:

I don’t think night elf warlocks make a ton of sense. But paladins, if they’re recolored, could.

They’ve literally added in over multiple race & class combos that makes your point MUTE. You said it yourself Tauren rogues don’t make sense, they clearly don’t care about the lore. They’ve already openly stated they’re open to more race & class combos in the future, but you can be weird & delusional if u want to.

Tauren pirates have existed for a long time now.

Bam, Outlaw Rogues.

They make more sense than LIGHTFORGED DK, WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU BLIZZARD. /seethe

Night Elven Moon Paladins, we saw one in Legion I think.

Night Elven Warlocks would be a solid NO- that’s basically what Demon Hunters exist for. They were kicked out of elven society.

THOSE are your elven demonic class.

Eh. Make them renegades that turned to it after their tree was burned down. They could be the Night Elves seeking a new power after Elune failed them.

Moot. lmao. And yes, I can explain why the current race/class combos make sense.

I didn’t say that. Anyone can use stealth. Even gigantic bosses.

Yes, which they’ve done. Again, not trying to be Captain Obvious, but saying what they’ve done doesn’t suddenly mean all races can be all classes. If that was the case, then why aren’t they now?

Who hurt you?

Hopefully it’s not tied to Elune. :crossed_fingers:

edit: There’s logic with encountering Highborne pallies and warlocks.

The ones that ‘Elune failed’ were turned undead and ‘joined’ the Forsaken. How does Fel Magic and Demonology suddenly solve a problem they blame on Elune? Night Elves finally allowed Mages back in during Cata. So I can’t imagine their society turning toward something they banished Illidan over.

There’s enough of them long eared critters running round these parts here already. I’m just gonna say it cause y’all thinking it: you elf people need to stop being elf people. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Paladin? Maybe soon. There already were a couple followers for the paladin class hall in Legion

Warlock? Maybe not, but who knows. They said they wanna loosen it up a bit more but it’s unclear how far they want to go. It’s certain there are some bridges they won’t want to cross.

For example i can’t ever see something like VE or Undead paladins coming to light (heh). Similarly with draenei or mag’har warlocks. It’s part of their identity that they are specifically not these things

For some race/class combos to work they’d need to create class skins and probably even new race-specific class names (for flavor). It’s uncertain if they would ever go this far for the sake of opening up classes, but who knows.

Some Night Elves wanted to learn the ways of the Warlock, so some humans taught them.

There’s some lore for you. You can move on with your life.

“state mandated loreless class choices”
Don’t forget, when this is over

I mean that is as deep as the lore for any of these new class and race combos are going to get, so you may as well accept and move on

Narp (had to change it cause it won’t let me put the same thing twice :sob: )
