Night Elf Lady's Boot Model Issue

Okay so this has been something that always irks me since it showed up way back in 6.2 and no one has ever seemed to want to fix it.

The screenshot linked summarises the issue in its entirety. The overlay, with that heavy boot model is clearly offset on night elf females. Compared to the Blood elf and even an NPC vrykul using the exact same boot you can see the issue. For people who like the have the best looking mog these issues, specific to night elf females using that boot have many items using that model ruined. I think this is the best place to bring it up and ask other night elf ladies if they see this issue and are bothered enough by it to post.

this bother me too actually. especially when the mog the shoes go to is great, but the boots ruin it by making your char look like they have the calves of an elephant.

for instance, i’ve been looking for a mog for my nelf hunter that goes with the ironfeather longbow for a while, and when i finally find something thats half decent, the boots just happen to be the very definition of awful. not to mention finding a substitute is proving very difficult

I like that affect. The pants just barely meet the boot top is what it looks like to me.

Welcome to my world. I have to go to lengths to find models that don’t do this THAT noticeably, it’s REALLY bad with some leather models

I hope enough notice and the art team can fix it. These models worked fine with the new WoD models prior to 6.2, then that happened and :crazy_face: every time

A visual error is a small problem that can be fixed, something they do regularly if it’s brought to their attention. What’s your problem?

I’ve seen that with other models before, it’s an improper texturing issue, similar to this boot problem I linked. Improper texturing is annoying :angry:

They told me to post here in response to in-game ticket, so here I am. I can’t imagine it’d be a hard fix.

Heh tried bug report, tried the forum , nothing works . They tell me they git my complaint, nothing changes . And that was last summer !!!
