I just learned there’s a recolor for the Night Elf Heritage Armor. Should I try to get it? I’m on the fence about it cause, it’s white and blue, and most of the night elf themed weapons are more purple in color so they wouldn’t properly match
I actually liked the white/blue better. You need to do the whole emerald dream campaign and you get an extra quest when everyone is giving their tribute to Tyrande. This is when you get it.

I see that wowhead says something about killing Fyrakk in the raid. Do I still need to do that, or did they make it so I don’t have to do that?

Players are reporting that the recolored white/blue Night Elf Heritage Armor is now available in-game, as well as the New Beginnings questline that wraps up the Amirdrassil story.
Based on reports from Reddit, Wowhead comments, and Twitter, late last night, this questline was accessible to players who defeated Fyrakk in the Amirdrassil raid and completed the other chapters of Defenders of the Dream Defenders of the Dream. Outside of the raid instance, Tyrande will offer the A Blossom Witnessed A Blossom Witnessed quest to start the final New Beginnings chapter, which includes the New Moon and Ysera cutscenes.
However, not all players who have defeated Fyrakk can see this quest, so perhaps it is rolling out slowly, only available to Night Elves for now, or has some other hidden criteria. We will update as we know more, and stay tuned to our walkthrough of the questline!
Along with this questline, Night Elf players can finally acquire the Ensemble: Raiment of Amirdrassil Ensemble: Raiment of Amirdrassil, a blue and white recolor of their Heritage Armor. This set is now available in our Dressing Room for players to preview.
ah man. that means running the raid… i’ve never done that raid cause i’ve been playing other games

my night elf is level 62. i’m trying to do quick dungeon runs to get her to 70, and then i have to do the whole emerald dream campaign on her
I use it in my Destro Spec Night Elf Warlock and was able to pair it well with SL Necrolord and Maw Back Piece… its white match really nice… Sadly it won’t show in the Forums! lol
Hope that if they add Druids of the Flame cosmetic option the add a red, gold or just fire looking Heritage Armor variant to it… for my Blasphemous Night Elf Warlock!
Then again Darkfallen skin only got the Dark Ranger transmog they never got a Dark Heritage Armor looking vre-color either… oh well one can dream.
You don’t have to. Just play through the emerald dream story quests. Tyrande will be outside the raid entrance to give you the quest.
Are hunts available at lower levels? I don’t have any alt in Dragonflight.

Yep, that’s all. I’m not really a raider either. Certainly hadn’t touched them when that quest became available at least.
I don’t mind doing raids now and then. I just was concerned I’d have to do the whole raid just to get a recolor for my night elves

Same. I forced myself to learn the fights for the last wings of LFR so I could try for the dragon transformations during season 4. Turns out I was just fine. If anything I overprepared for them.
I don’t think you have to do the raid. Do the quests right up to where they send you to the raid, but then Tyrande should be sending you outside the dream to do the party and they then send you around to talk to others and then they celebrate the new tree.
