Hello! I am again very new to the game so I have been trying out different classes and I am trying a Night Elf Female Fury Warrior and I was wondering if thats a good option? I seem to not be doing the damage I thought I would be doing and I keep getting a lot of misses. Should I go with a different class for the race or is it just low level stuff? (Level 10 by the way).
“White damage” (regular auto attacks) have a fairly significant chance to miss when dual wielding. This is baked into the classes tuning, so it’s not really a disadvantage, just a bit of the flavor of dual-wielding. (You shouldn’t be missing with your special or “yellow” attacks unless the mob is several levels above you.)
You might want to give it a few more levels, but there’s really no harm in trying something else to see if you have more fun with it. (And you may even come back to it later, as more game experience might change your approach to a class.)
Unless you are talking about the top 0.1% of players doing end game content, class/race combinations aren’t a big deal. (And even in those cases the “right” answer depends on the encounter.) So your main considerations when picking which race to go with a class are (1) can the race actually be the class and (2) do I like the look/animations of the race.
Okay awesome! Thank you so much for the help! I was mainly talking about the auto attacks I felt like I was killing things a tad bit slower then arms but that makes sense. I am assuming Fury is all about the combos it can do later on in levels based off what you said about duel wielding so thats pretty good. I am still having a real hard time trying to pick a main and everything so. Fury seems cool. Thank you again for the tips. There is a lot to learn about this game and to pick cause. its been about a week and I still haven’t got a main. Been jumping characters and everything lol
While there are people who are laser focused on a main, there’s also plenty of people out there who bounce around and don’t really have and “official” main character. I spend more time on my low level alts than I do my max level characters most of the time. When I’m playing at max level, it’s not unusual to have my “main” be defined by which toon feels like they fit the current story best.
Basically, what it comes down to is that if you’re having fun, you’re doing it right.
