So, I was just thinking as I went through all the customizations for classes and as it stands it feels like Night Elf have the “least” customization, All the other have some stuff of piercing or way to better express self. I feel like if they at least added the “leaf” customization to hair that would be on par with Skyborne and other jewelry styles.
Plus as a druid.. really cool to be with leaves in your hair.
I agree. I think this would be an easy win for them to simply give more customization to all races, but especially Night Elf.
As much as I’d rather not have the leaves added, I agree with porting all or most retail customization options and splitting SD and HD character creation. Similar to worgen.
I think adding the leaves in both HD and SD, doesn’t really take away from the experience but adds bit of extra feeling to your character since I can put feathers in my hair as a skyborne and I have tattoos as well.
oh no, you don’t want to go there, trust me. The classic community will eat you up for suggesting that. Just keep it SD and HD with different options. Besides, Blizzard are not likely to go about designing SD leaves for 1 race. But for the love of Illidan, at least add black hair as an option

Hey respect, I’m always down for more options that fit the vibe. I’m not offended by leaves. The main point is that all races could use more customization options. I also want night elf tattoos, we’re missing a bunch of skin and hair colors. Eye colors could be cool, just silver and yellow as that is what makes sense in the lore currently. My guess is that they wanted the creator to be sort of seamless between HD and SD, but it’s not really. It’s like half way there, so I don’t understand why they held back on more HD options already. Ultimately it would be awesome if they settled on the art style and committed to working on it, instead of this weird non-committal toggle reality.

I would really like the option to have my blue eyes in forever on HD model. Seemed wierd that nightelves and also undead got no alternate options from retail for their eye colors and all the other races got all theirs. I figured it might be to do with the glow effect, but i hope it was just an over sight.
