I am a very slow leveling person. I am also working on 3 toons.
However, i can honestly say the rogue has the biggest turnaround once you hit 20.
I am leveling as SUB and i was really struggling. To the point i almost stopped playing as the rogue.
Then 20 hit and something wonderful happened. i got ambush and poison. What a difference. I can now fight enemies and do fine when before i was getting crushed.
I need to start in stealth or i will still have troubles but its night and day better
I know this isn’t news to most but i really wanted to play rogue since before launch and i was having a bad time.

I cant wait for the warrior turn around at level 60… oh and after getting some good gear… Oh and hiring a pocket healer…

hope it stays good. best of luck. persevere!
A lot of classes get pretty huge talents or abilities at 20. Warrior for example gets anger management, which is HUGE for tanking and even just killing stuff.
For my druid it was 12 to get bear form. That went great and then 20 for cat. I switched to cat and it was great.
My hunter was 10, then it was ez mode
Warrior at 30 is amazing if you get WW axe you delete mobs

If only that were true. Yes it helps a CRAP load. but it is not the be all end all for warriors. leveling as Arms means if i dont crit i lose about 1/3 of my DPS. Can only take 2 mobs at once every 30sec.
Yep, druids get cat form at 20, which is far less a snooze fest than bear or caster form for the 19 levels prior to that.

Mage at 20 is big. Teleport to Org so you can start setting your hearth to your questing hub, blizzard, cold snap for double frost nova, blink, you can really start kiting melee at this point.

Your going to want to level as combat. Getting 5/5 in the precision talent(+5% hit) is basically mandatory.

Ive been leveling combat this time around and it seems way easier than when I originally leveled my rogue as sub (very start of BC). Your stealth sucks, and you can’t use backstab or ambush, but you get blade flurry. In the low 30s I was able to take out 4 mobs my same level at once (not intentionally, pulled 2 and 3 came then a 4th respawned on me). Not sure what I’ll play if I hit 60, just been playing mostly solo and thought combat would be easier.

Thank you, but i really want to do sub. Im playing on RP server and sub is part of my concept. The improved sap style play is going to be important to me. Everything is stealth.
Im not going to do any raids and not really interested in dungeons. I understand im probably going to hurt myself a little bit at 60 but sticking with daggers and stealth

36 is whirlwind and you can get the quest axe / bonebiter. Then 40 you get the mother of all melee nukes…That’s what I’m waiting on now and hoping it picks up.
So using a lvl 40 weapon at lvl 30 works great. I am not surprised.
Sub Daggers at 60 is actually really fun. You’ll kill mobs a little slower when farming, but it’s completely viable for Wpvp and 5 mans.

Rogue gets strong just after level 10, gouge and imp. gouge are your friends
or if you are a sword heathern, the Rogue becomes strong more or less the moment you get two points in imp. sinister strike. I levelled subtlety daggers in vanilla and it was not efficient. I’m doing daggers again but I’m going for a more balanced build, plus the talents in 1.12 are much improved.
I have my WW axe. and it its a big difference. I cant wait for whirlwind. going to help with AOE grinding.
Does warrior actually get better? So far I’m finding it garbage.
Been waiting on a good dagger drop to switch to subtlety, level 26 and it still hasnt happened. Hopefully soon!
It gets a lot better at level 60 and with gear.
warrior class is meh. Ive seen the videos saying warriors are the be all end all for DPS and tanking. Which is kind of true. because warriors are hands down the most gear dependent class in the game. They are the best tanks for raids but in 5 mans Druids are actually better. Higher HP, Higher TPS, more utility. Warrior DPS in raids is very good because they don’t need to worry about the debuff cap because they only have 2 and there kind of useless for bosses compared to other debuffs.
In PVP warriors are a ton of fun. you can instakill clothies. But without a heal bot and gear your next to useless vs a mage, hunter, rogue, warlock, and priest.
Im actually going to put my warrior on the bench and level a warlock.
