Hi all. I mostly play Alli side here on MG, but an think about using the upcoming remix to get me a nice Horde alt to rp on, would I be okay doing that here, or would I be better off running her over on WrA? I’ve also been trying to look for a consolidated RP calendar (if there is one anymore) but all the links I’ve been finding are dead. Any help/suggestions/comments appreciated!

I am curious about this as well! I’m unfamiliar with the RP side of things on Horde when it is on our server (MG) and with Remix coming in a few days, the faster leveling interests me in possibly expanding my already overflowing roster.
Hello! It’s always lovely to see interest! The Horde is definitely a flavor - each race is incredibly unique, held together by a the need to survive together in a world that they don’t quite fit in. Be it Orcs who once invaded Azeroth and the Tauren and Trolls who swore themselves as their allies, Undead who were risen by the Lich King, Blood Elves who sold themselves to the fel or siphoned the Light from a captive Naaru in a bid to satisfy power… there’s a whole host of interesting cultures and angles you can come from! I highly recommend doing the Orc Heritage quest, as it’s actually really comparative to the recent Draenei heritage quest and helps really flesh out the Orcish culture!
Comparatively, we’re a smaller community - but growing! There is less emphasis on walk up rp and more focus on creating long-term stories within and among the guilds. The largest of these are War Wolves, Stormtalon Tribe and Undercity Nexus. They’ve also come together with Spearskull and other guilds to create The Horde Vanguard, which is a community where we can get together and intermingle socially and through small events and campaigns, such as the upcoming Hatred’s Wake campaign.

There are a number of guilds that are mixed for horde and alliance players that play neutral on MG that will provide plenty of content through their guild activites and the communities they are apart of. And with Cross-Sever guilds coming in a few months, probably a moot point unless your RP style is very dependant on walk up RP. Then you will want WRA.
