Next week's affliction nerfs are NOT good for PvP

Completely almost roll back any and all progress we made to be a solid A tier spec in the 0.7 patch. If anything, we should get a flat 2% buff on our abilities instead of losing 2%.

  • Losing 20% damage on darkglare, which didn’t do much in the first place and is our only major “CD” which isnt even that major.
  • Losing 15% damage from grimoire of sac which is only about 7% of my damage in the first place.
  • 2% nerf to ALL damage abilities.

Why. Why are these PvE changes being allowed to effect us in PvP. Look at frost DK as well, same issue, solid B tier maybe low A spec, and they lose 3% damage from the PvE nerfs.

So is Destruction our only option now?

Having a pet out is just bad for destroy and affliciton, because that thing is a damage sponge. It is a detriment to have a pet out in arena as a warlock.

Probably the only option since they nerfed Demo in the first round of fixes.

Not to mention blizzard seems to constantly suck at writing the code for pets. I remember watching my daddy just stand there every now and then when I would summon him as Demo.
