Next step for void elf plotline?

I wonder what comes next for the ren’dorei - will they march onto silvermoon and claim it? therefore making the city truly live up to its name.

I suppose the blood elf exiles could migrate to quel’danas as void elves have no use for the sunwell due to it being quite small compared to just tapping into the void.

They will stay in Telogrus Rift. The Void Elves will never be able to freely set foot in Silvermoon, unless the factions are completely erased.

You have no claim though. Silvermoon is no longer your home.

Oh i dont roleplay as my character i’m not asking for the story to be written such a way, just speculating.

As we’ve seen how bad a reaction it is when light and void mix, silvermoon appears to be very susceptible to a void attack. Kind of like the whole city is covered in flammables, and one void elf is a match.

If Void Elves get any lore development at all (and goodness knows they need it), I’d like to think, at the very least, we’d get a concrete answer as to how the new recruits are getting their powers. Ideally I’d also like to know more about the motivations of those joining, and how Alleria and Umbric are vetting the potential recruits.

Finding the Balance. We saw a glimpse of it in Thousand Year war. Both the Light and Dark are dangerous forces if taken to the extreme BUT when Alleria used both she actually managed to see the “truth”.

True. We can safely assume more void elves are joining because one crack squad isn’t close to being enough to populate a playable race. As for how? I think it’s also a safe assumption they arent doing the exact same method as the original group, and that the new process is in a more controlled environment.

Honestly probably just blood elves that want to join the alliance. Or silver covenant high elves looking to try out void magic?

It’s over. It ended in Legion IIRC.

Why would it be over when the group still exists?

We’re talking about Blizzard. When are they going to continue the
Gnome, Dwarf, LF Draenei, DI Dwarf, Kul Tiran, Undead, Tauren, Troll, HM Tauren, Vulpera, or Zandalari Troll stories?

They’re not.

Why would void elves be different?

Well as an example the zandalari storyline has been developing & ongoing since vanilla, so that straight away isn’t a good example to bring up

You found one. One exception.

Edit:

Being generous, btw. Because they’re totally done with the zandalari now.

DI Dwarf, another exception.

Kul tiran, another exception.

The list continues.

Finished, they will never have relevance again, they rejoined the Alliance, everything is sunshine and rainbows. If Blizzard ever revisits this race again I’ll eat my shirt.

Finished, will never be relevant again. We’re not going back to Kul Tiras and they’re not going to leave except for a few “adventurers”.

Void elves;
Finished, will never be relevant again. We saw their entire story in Legion, they had no real relevance to BFA as a race, we’ve seen everything we’re going to see.

You seem to misunderstand how Blizzard writing works.

Even if that’s as deep a reason as we can get, I’d like for it to at least be stated in game so there’s some canon reference as to what’s motivating these elves to sip the purple kool-aid. Players can always headcanon their own origins and motivations, but I’d like to canonically know what’s motivating these Silvermoon Scholars and High Elf Wayfarers to join the Ren’dorei.

I’m not asking for much. Just more than “A path long denied to us is open at last.” and “We need no longer fear exile for the pursuit of knowledge.”.

Practically speaking, I don’t think they’re going to give the capital of one race to the other faction. The tree and UC were both destroyed, but they weren’t taken over.

An interesting point would be if the VEs decided they wanted to try though. BEs wouldn’t just shrug and let them have everything except the Sunwell so conquering it would essentially mean extermination of the vast majority of them. VEs don’t seem to care about BEs any more than BEs do about them (aka not even a little) but I don;t think most of the Alliance leadership/VIPs (including Vareesa who sees the BEs more as mislead cousins than mortal enemies) being OK with that.

Even then they wouldn’t be allowed in. Alleria almost damaged the Sunwell just by being too close. Canonically the Void Elves are forbidden from coming anywhere near it, and it has nothing to do with Alliance vs Horde.

They start eating some blood elves.
