It’s the same rune on the arena banner in the Kargath story for Wod.

A friend of mine pointed it out, I’d link the pic but I don’t have that right here I think.

I’d prefer a Legion remix but hey, I’ll take any remix tbh. I enjoyed the MOP one thoroughly!

It isn’t it.

I think it could be a hint of player housing for pre-purchasing for midnight. The green along the banner I think could be for a Legion Remix, but that is a complete guess.

Yeah I’m with you on that one.
They are not the same.

I thought the rune on the roadmap looked like a hut with a door so I assumed player housing myself.

Well they could have flipped it to throw people off or made an oopsy as for green they had the legion in wod and wod opened up to legion.

To be fair, I had to explain to blizz in a ticket that the horde symbol they added in like BFA or SL to the character select screen was backwards and they argued with me instead of fixing it, but here we are years later and it’s now flipped the correct way.

But it’s not just flipped.
It’s a different shape. The curl on the inside is rounded like a little door on the roadmap

It’s more like it’s inversed. Obviously 2 different artists working those symbols and not the same artist or assets from the original symbol creating this new one. Wouldn’t be the first time blizz got art on a symbol wrong in game as I mentioned above.

I’ll be happy with any xpac Remix. I just hope that Blizz makes the gear act like heirlooms so we don’t have to constantly add/remove gems all the time.

So you’re saying they paid a new artist to make the same rune and he couldn’t even get the basics of the shape and orientation of the line correct?

And then that got approved to be put on the road map?

And that this is more likely than it just being a hut, which it looks like and being a symbol for the hearthstone you’re going to get for your house when player housing comes out.

That’s your theory?

Yeah, not at all unlike how bugs get through string lock and make it into the live game.

It is possible, but if you still flipped around the icon, it is still different.

I can see it being an issue for a lot of people but i did like the gem thing. Halfway through remix i got an addon that changed the interface for the gem slotting and it made it so much easier to deal with as i didn’t have that slotting bug happen.

You know, if they went and included all the cut content for WoD the Remix could be interesting.

I would kill for some of the cut content but I don’t think we’d get that for a remix. Maybe WoD classic tho.
