For the next phases of TBC, please consider leaving the boss’s pre nerf, but please please please significantly lower the health pool / nerf the trash of both raids. SSC and TK take up a lot of time and spending time clearly or even wiping on trash is not fun.
I don’t want pre-nerf anymore if the timeline is gonna be this accelerated.
Tbc raiding numbers exceeding blizz’s expectation by a significant amount with the post nerf t4 raids.
Everybody having fun raiding nerfed Kara. Pugs forming every minute. The sweats are focusing on getting several alts up and running for splits and pushing parses and speed kills. Nobody is quitting because nerfed t4 is too easy.
Pre nerf t5 would be the wost decision blizz could make at this point. So any day now we should get the announcement that they’ve decided to release t5 pre nerf.
I am fine with whatever they decide on bosses. I see positives both ways, but trash is the focal point of my post.
Pre nerf t5 hype, pre nerf t5 hype
Man is not wrong. The numbers are strong for TBC. It’s going to be tough to get them off of post-nerf, now
They can’t release pre nerf t5 the avg classic andy can’t even do heroic shattered halls 4 weeks into the phase still.
Then they shouldn’t get vashj loot lol
Post nerf all the way.
Let’s have fun.
I agree but blizzard won’t. They have to make sure the brain damaged 40+ year old boomer can press 1 button and get vashj and kt loot.
Its classic.. most people are more interesting in just mouth breathing to prove that can push 2-3 buttons the fastest while manipulating other people that can do that too into giving them pixels first so on the website your number changes colors. Then using this to judge the value of people by. If your number isn’t good you blame your team. If its a good color you didn’t need them anyway.
Post nerf is probably how things are going to be.
Just like how nobody quit because T5 was hard, unlike all the casualbabbies keep insisting. The playercount remained stable throughout pre-nerf T5 and T6, even though casuals keep parroting their fanfiction of “everyone quit because T5 was hard”.
Have an NPC that will toggle to nerfed versions, but bosses only drop 2 badges each. Casuals can still get ‘loot’ and complete the raid.
Idk what Happened, the last playerbase was infinitely better than this one. It’s actually insane how dysfunctional the current base is
The good players are either on retail/mop or just stoped playing. Anniversary has a small % of sweats but the majority is just boomers. Like era players level bad.
the only boss that got over nerfed was morogrim bro. trust me when I say you do not want pre-nerf vashj. unless you enjoy the idea of 20 minute run backs after wiping to ridiculous mind controls and farming DME every week for thornling seeds to soak poison spots.
I can explain this,
the current playerbase is infested with people (noobs) who died in HC realms and used the free transfer to bring their characters to the same realms we are now playing TBC on.
HC in the last two years has been the only wow product actually drawing in NEW players to classic, like brand new. HC realms also foster the culture of being not only lacking knowledge about every aspect of the game but ADVERSE to doing any kind of research or personal preparation for any activity in any way. The degree of hand holding they need is genuinely insane.
For whatever reason, the “hardcore” version of the game draws in the lowest brow 2head type of gamer way more than anyone who actually desires a “hardcore” experience. My guess is that it’s because it’s one of the few places open world leveling and importance of social interactions really matter. On top of the big streamers that have been playing HC and giving it publicity.
When I started playing on anni realms before TBC it was immediately apparent to me that I was completely surrounded by people that have no clue what they are doing most of the time. It’s like being ported back to 2006.
People did quit t5 because it was too hard. Numbers don’t show a massive drop off, but those also include Kara during that phase which is skewing it.
Pre nerf t5 after giving us post nerf t4 would kill the casual playerbase. Toggle would be a much better way to handle this.
anyone who thinks t5 was not killing off the casual playerbase last time around is being disingenuous. It wasn’t even fun for semi-HC groups either. It was wildly obvious to everyone playing at the time and also reflected right here in the forums, as well as WCL stats when it was possible to look at phase 2 and 2.5 separately.
why do you think it got nerfed in the first place? just because? no lol blizzard was able to look at this situation and listen to the feedback. Otherwise we would have kept pre-nerf t5 for more than 1/2 of one phase.
No thanks, keep it post nerf. Game actually feels fun right now.
