tbf this is also why I want a pseudo-hero class like monk more than an actual hero class
I could see limiting tinker to just the tech-oriented races (which is pretty broad really since that mostly just excludes elves, draenei, trolls, tauren, pandaren and dracthyr), but another elf-exclusive class is going to get people whining too much imo.
