They cant even fix the classes that have been in this game since vanilla, why would you possibly want them to add anymore. Not disagreeing these would be cool, but they have bigger fish to fry to save some face for this game.
Champ, you’re not too good at making friend, are yeah? Again, just because you don’t understand what Goblins & Gnomes are, doesn’t mean everyone else shares your limited, narcissistic point of view.
Hell, by your standards I could make a case that every race is a sideshow, 'cause they’re “so entertaining”.
Orcs? Dummies you eat rocks and smash things, ha!
Night Elves? Hippies who live in flammable trees, ha!
Draenei? Space-goats with terrible accents who crash space ships all the time, ha!
Forsaken? Conscious zombies who’re always getting themselves blown up and stitched back together, ha!
Etc., etc., etc…
Dragons have been pretty prevalent in lore ever since WarCraft II. And their plight is definitely something you can build an expansion around. Given the hints being dropped lately, that might just be shaping up as we speak.
As for the specific suggestions, replace the cloak for the item slot, and numbers are meant to be balanced by someone more qualified than myself (though I’d assume the potency would be reduced based on the number of targets afflicted). But again, I’m just throwing ideas out there, not actually implementing them.
That being said, I would also love to see an AA system based on dedication to a specific dragonflight. Take two on Path of the Titans, as it were.
But then would you be able to roll a Dragonsworn class Dragon? A dragon sworn to dragons as a dragon…sworn?
Dragonception!
“I’d play that for a dollar!”
if you can have kul tiran shamans you can have bards. but i agree the other wont work.
i dont want to here about lore because of kul tiran shamans.
To every post of this nature, I say this: Class balance is a journey without a destination. It will never be “arrived” at, but simply driven toward perpetually.
This Thread doesn’t make sense nor Works.
Playable Classes like Bards, Tinkers, Gunslingers, and Necromancers Plz.
No more Melee New Classes.
It is a part of the story disconnected from the main story line. It is going to be similar to duskvar as a story-fun to play through but really it’s own story and independent of the human/troll/faction war story.
If this was the focus of 8.0, it would make sense to add a tinker class. Absent that, unless 8.2 is setting up next expansion content, we are probably not getting tinkers next expansion. Based on past new classes, if we get a class in 9.0, it is going to be fundamental to the story of 9.0 and not 8.1-8.2.
I’d rather be Dragonborn and be totally OP.
Wait, how can you say that about Tinkers when now, more than ever, we have so much stuff related to technology, even a major hub in the next patch will look like a post-apocalyptic futuristic city. Robot pets and mounts everywhere, the (high) possibility of a Mechagnome AR.
If anything, it’s the new class prospect that makes most sense now.
Come to think about it, I had this theory that BfA will end with a N’zoth victory, setting up a next xpac fully Black Empire themed, with both capitals in ruins, and we start the journey by rebuilding and getting strong for the reprisal - and that Tinkers would surface bringing technology to the spotlight in order to fully strengthen the factions in a short time span;
Tinkers would mainly feature gnomes and goblins, but also Humans and Orcs.
I believe that the diversion to Mechagon will be be the closest thing we’ll ever come to a focus on Gnomes and the more technologically-inspired aspects of WoW. But that’s all the tech side has ever been: a quirky diversion.
I don’t think your class idea is mutually exclusive with bards, necros, and tinkers.
TBH all new class ideas should become 4th spec “Allied Classes” with achievement unlocks.
This is news to me since when did humans abused the blue dragonflight?
No it needs to be ranged.
If anything, Blizzard’s current trends would indicate a melee leather-user.
No ty the next class they had needs to be full on range and maybe a healer spec, definitely not a tank spec.
I highly disagree with what you’re saying about Necromancers, but a Dragonsworn hero class would be pretty awesome.
I’d rather just have a straight up playable dragon. Well, I’d rather have my Tinker class first, but let’s stay on point.
Starting scenario talks about how the flights are dying out, so they’ve chosen whelps (that’s you the player) to mingle with the factions in the hopes of finding a way to save the flights from dying out.
Your chosen race would serve as your disguise.
When in combat, like the Worgen, you automatically shed your disguise and we get a lovely young dragon model. This model could have it’s color altered in the barber shop for those who want to play a different flight.
Like Druids, there’d be four specs; one for each role.
I feel something more along these lines would better fit WoW’s story.
What was Ulduar and the Storm Peaks questing with the mechagnomes, then?
And on the note of
So Demon Hunter didn’t step on Warlocks’ toes?
