Next heritage armor when?

When and who?? The lack of follow through is annoying… Was every race supposed to be done by the end of BfA or has it always been a random multiple expansion occasional bone thrown to players?

I really want Night Elf and Panda sets to be announced already…

I want the troll one to be a shadow hunter :star_struck:

Darkspear could use a little love after all the Zandalari hype. Maybe you get something similar to what Vol’jin wore. It’s a bummer trying to play Darkspear and wear trolly armor but it’s all from different tribes and not their own.

Some of the quests might be tied to characters that are dead. For example maybe the human quest might involve tracking down Varian’s soul or something. Orcs maybe Saurfang and Trolls maybe Voljin.

It would be really hard to do Human and Orc sets because of how prevalent that gear is already. I can’t really imagine a more “Stormwind Human” gear set than the 7th Legionnaires set. It is pretty rad. Same with Orcs, they just have so much Orc armor already that it would be tough to make a set that is “iconic Orc.”

The rest should be out throughout Shadowlands. They never said it was BfA only, there just wasn’t time in BfA to get them all. But all of the remaining seven will gets their eventually.

The sets take time to make. For designing the set itself and there’s quests and story scenarios that go along with it. We’ll probably find out more as Shadowlands gets more underway, right now it’s all still hidden so we don’t know.

Personally I think that, with the theme of Shadowlands and the whole talking-to-the-dead aspect, they should play up the religious aspects of the humans and orcs in their heritage quests. Orcs connecting with their revered ancestors and coming away with a shamanistic set, while humans reflect on their spiritual forebears and earn a priest-like set.

True, there are a lot of sets that already hit that racial theme. But they can always use the dead heroes as a base. Both Varian and Saurfang were missing pieces of armour at their deaths, Varian lost his as we saw in the Legion Cinematic and Saurfang was missing much of his. Could always say that we need to gather it again and either take it to SW/ORG or a blacksmith in Shadowlands.

With that it could be based upon well known lore characters of that race, maybe altered to hit the racial themes a bit more.

I find it hard to believe anyone saw the worgen heritage armour and was excited for things to come.

The most b team possible is clearly now in charge of heritage armours.

Assuming that it isn’t completely forgotten about in Shadowland… I am sure it is safe to say that we have received all of the Heritage armors that we will be getting in BfA.

Seems obvous at this point that Blizzard doesn’t want to put any more money into BfA unless it is to address game breaking issues… hence why patch 8.3.5 was axed.

ours is actually really good

I could see the next pair being tied to the Shadowlands pre-patch, but other than that, yeah I don’t think will be getting anymore until Shadowlands.

Im going to guess Draenei and Darkspear trolls are going to be the next ones to get heritage armor. It will probably be in the 9.1 patch which I would guess it will be a year from now.

Kinda getting anxious on the next sets to cant wait to see them. :+1:

But they kinda already do. They could just repurpose Saurfang’s armour. It’s unique and pretty Orcish.

dark spear and night elves would be my preferred next ones. They kinda need some love.

Yeah. And they have the story cues to back them up in Ardenweild.

Tyrande is going to have a major story there with Elune and that’s where the Troll’s ‘other side’ is. And we already know we are going to be going there in a dungeon and Bwonsamdi is the Darkspear’s patron Loa.

They could very easily slide the armour quests into those storylines.
