i dont care, i want something else. hell, make an expansion dedicated to the undead, make it a gothic expansion.
Your going back to Warcraft as it was pre Vanillia, pre Warcraft III.
Back then the winner of the game was the one who knocked down all the other side’s buildings.

You mean the side skirmishes while we deal with the big bad of the xpack?
in this game’s 20 years, there is a grand total of two, yes, TWO expansions where the war between horde and alliance meant anything. MoP and BFA.
Outside of those two, it was nothing but a side skirmish while we dealt with a big bad.
So what “real war” are you referring to? This game never had a “real war” for the vast majority of it’s existence.

They’ve pretty well blurred the lines between the alliance and the hoard for the last three expansions. I suspect by the end of the world soul saga they are going to unlock race class and factions and let everyone pick which side they wanna play for. The war is over and PVP is purely for show.
We already know what Midnight and Last Titan will be.
We are fighting a real war.
Why would you want to regurgitate the same old boring plots and hostilities?
True, I’d like to see the Horde and Alliance walk different paths with separate story-lines (it’d at least shut up those complaining about the lack of Horde representation) but, given Blizzard’s new patch-release schedule, I doubt that’s going to happen anytime soon.

Also, midnight is about elves and the worldsoul which thank god that it is.
Plus, Metzen always was a guy who wants it cosmic or a cosmic lite story type of guy.
We won’t… WOW has never really been Orcs vs. Humans. That was left behind in Warcraft II. The fight between the cosmic forces of the universe is Metzen’s story. It is what he always wanted to tell.
