Next expansion prediction

The Horde and Alliance are back to war.

An ancient evil arises to threaten Azeroth.

The Horde and Alliance put their differences aside to save the world.

Sounds about right. It really is a tired story mechanic.

which horde leader gets the axe? i think it’s lorthemar’s turn

NO! Lor’themar will eventually retire and have a family with Thalyssra and their kids will be the most powerful mages in lore. :triumph:

Lor’themar… and… Thalyssra? You say??? You don’t mean… a male a female, do you??? No no no, young one, there are no more straight couples in this game, everyone must be gay.

Nahh, if it doesn’t happen this xpac, then next one will be the one where the main big bad is Tyrande. Its time for the Alliance to have a leader lose their crap and go nuts (current leader, Arthas doesn’t count)

I’m waiting for the twist where Lor’themar discovers a rather long surprise on Thalyssra.

LOL

Then it would be fine for them to be together

“By the sunwell…it surges with arcane power!”

Don’t be silly. That’s two expansions from Shadowlands. It’s a three expansion cycle:

  1. Warchief (or “Warchief” now) does nothing.
  2. “Warchief” starts stirring up trouble.
  3. Full blown HvA war; “Warchief” deposed.

Can anything else even be done at this point?

They’ve kinda written themselves into a corner.

Which horde leader is gonna go crazy?

Yeah, I agree. Maybe go back to basics. Sporadic border skirmishes between the the two, local warlords, bandits and relatively believable bad guys to fight.

They went a bit far with having us take on celestial beings and now death. We are going to beat death?

I would rather fight a twisted dragon or a delusional dwarf any day.

My prediction for shadowlands is that I will run around like a loony collecting all the things! Anima, reps, mounts, pets, doesn’t matter it will all be mine.

The players (and Anduin) come back after nearly a decade in the Shadowlands to find that we missed another Alliance Horde war. One that the Horde lost misrably rather than ending in a “tie”.

The Horde is now annexed by the Alliance and being forced to repair the damages from their rampage.

Anduin is initially outraged by this, but he remembers Saurfangs words. The Horde’s culture will always circle back around to bloodshed unless something is changed. Deciding yet another war is proof enough that nothing has changed, Anduin takes it upon himself to force that change.

He grants the Tauren and Blood Elves status as full members of the Alliance, as they were the ones most against the war, then shifts the Alliance and Horde’s resources to rebuilding the remaining Horde race’s infrastructure in a way that doesn’t promote pointless bloodshed.

Over the next expansion, each of the remaining Horde races prove they’ve moved beyond their need to murder people and steal their stuff, and are granted alliance citizenship one-by-one.

You forgot the part where he marries a draenei and has a bunch of beautiful mutant babies!

Alliance can start a war for once.

Make it a holy war since we have so many saying light light and more light.

I’d say they’d have to write a reason why DH’s would fight a war for the light. But then I realized they just really don’t care about follow up with us anyway.

We literally went to each factions camp to kill demons about to assassinate leaders. How the hell we got drafted into azeroth armies I have no clue. We are illidari. Our home is in the demon realms.

We don’t even pay taxes anymore. Wait…that may be the reason Maiev hates us. She’s might also be a tax collector

I mean Anduin X Vindicator Heluun is as good as canon already. Why even bring it up?

I think the Horde leaders are done going crazy and getting killed. It’s the Alliance next, dog.
