Next expansion, lets get back to basics

Basics as in…no complex currencies, no complex crafting, original progression-----> (PVE)-----> leveling, dungeons, heroic dungeons, LFR, normal raids, heroic raids…just make it ALL harder content. All these other activities seems to divide the community even further. One example - M+

Cool. So you just want a bunch of people to quit.

OP have the experience of LFR and maybe 2 easy keys and thinks they’re an expert on how content should be

Don’t voice for others unless you actually have the experience of heroic and some +20 keys

Infact I’ll be generous, +15 keys

I don’t like or care about M+ but a lot of people do, and removing it at this point would be braindead level idiocy.

They could merge a lot of currencies and such. Uplifting the WHOLE world so we can do our questing anywhere we feel like. Make ALL cities relevant, all services available everywhere. Update crafting so we have the same system everywhere. Allow us to use alternate materials so if I want to sew up a linen robe using Shal’Dorei silk I should be able to do that. The finer materials would however affect the stats of what comes out of it. And stop requiring special hard to find locations for crafting unless under very specific circumstances. I should not have to look for a tailor’s workbench.

I mean… they don’t… it’s not like a tailoring bench is hard to find.

One in Valdrakken and one in a Centaur village that I know of. Probably something else but they should be as common as anvils.

The uber incompetents will cry if their LFD is made any harder.

I miss the pre legion times of progression being straightforward.

Or just kill off these currencies and go back to gear not being ultra creeped up 60 item levels in a single tier of content.

It’d be super neat if there were some next to the specialized looms, at least.

Yea, valdrakken, where everyone already is.

I rather spend as little time in Valdrakken as possible. Especially because that there are too many people there lagging the place.

I mean, we could just go back to crafting being useless like has been since wrath

I’m worried that’s exactly where we’re headed with all of the people complaining about the changes to professions. Blizz’s response to any form of criticism seems to be to just completely ditch the feature in the trash

My example with the worktable just means that they should be more common. Most settlements should have them.

I agree with taking out the complex currencies/reps (I hate renown, personally), and overly complex crafting, but M+ is a really popular activity. While I don’t do M+ (or any max level content currently), I wouldn’t get rid of such a popular feature.

I disagree on the crafting. Its finally imo atleast in a decent spot. The last time crafting was this good was bc when you had wpn and armorsmiths making endgame gear.

Renown really isn’t any different then rep though, it’s just repackage and allows for more rewards.

Before you’d just buy things at rep levels, now you buy things at rep levels.

Overly convoluted crafting isn’t synonymous with good results. The entire crafting upgrade system could be simplified and made faster and easier, with the same results, but that’s not what Blizzard wants.

So we have an overly convoluted system by design, not by necessity.

I doubt it. Blizzard loves to overcomplicate things because it will make players play WoW longer and worry about FOMO.

This is by design. Blizzard wants players to spend all their gaming time on Blizzard products, as that increases the chances of players buying extra stuff like WoW Tokens.

The only changes I would see made are no quality to mats and only 3 quality for crafts, 5 is too many and 3 mats just clutter your bags
