I doubt dragon isles is big enough for an expansion on it’s own, maybe a patch but not an expansion.
Also, how many “isles” expansions are we gonna have? Legion: Broken Isles, 5 islands. BFA: 7 islands(zones not connecting). If they keep this “isles” theme it’s gonna become redundant.
You’d be surprised how much content Blizzard can create from just a blueprint
Obviously. It’s either going to be World of Warcraft: Mrrrgrlgl of the Glrm Grrglrm or World of Warcraft: Hogger’s Vengeance.
Bookmarked and will quote this post when the next xpac is announced.
I expect no less
A lot of predictable things in there - and it’s hard to think it’s a ‘real’ leak that will happen - but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot from it somehow makes it’s way into the new expansion on one form or another.
It’s hilarious how bad the leak is. Especially seeing as how it talks about the “Old God” beneath Tirisfal. Last I checked, that Old God is a C’thraxxi inside the tomb of a keeper.
Additionally, for some reason Gilgoblins are now Tech-savvy.
The broken isles was also “too small” to be an expansion at one point. Unfortunately, we don’t have anymore continents. So besides a different planet or dimension, islands are what we are gonna get.
You’re all wrong.
WoW 9.0: Rise of the Tuskar.
You will know fear.
I fully expect them to take an FFXIV route and do another “doomed alternate world” expansion or patch.
I wouldn’t mind that. An AU where n’zoth wins. We fight him on that world to find out how to stop him in our world before he can do the damage.
Although a lot of people are going to see AU and say it’s a horrible idea because of WoD
isn’t TBC also AU like Draenor? I’m not sure how they affect each other since both are the exact same place, but with the current level of writing I foresee 'reused writing" next expansion too.
TBC is Original Universe Draenor, after the destruction caused by events in Through the Dark Portal and the aftermath that occurred while the camera was focused elsewhere.
As much as I want this…Dragon Isle is way to small to be an expansion. Just like Argus…It’ll show up as a major patch update. For them to make up some other blueprints to make DI huge enough is less than likely.
What’s crazy about the Age of Darkness leaks is that the essence system from it basically took my Relic Progression concept that I laid out on my youtube channel:
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od0kEnNqgyI](Here’s a link if you want to compare them.)
I’m just thrilled that someone thought that my stuff was worth using!
Yes.
That would be surprising.
although all the rumored leaks are false, the odds are great we are getting a N’zoth Black Empire themed expansion.
Also based on what I’m seeing the “Black Empire” (the name I’ll call it until something is announced) will most likely have:
N’zoth global invasion, Azeroth update.
Level Squish, Max Level 60.
New Class/Hero Class 75% sure it’ll be Tinker this time.
Possible ‘Neutral’ Allied Race JunkerGnome
Possible End of the Faction War, Horde and the Alliance Merge, while some Leaders refuse peace, and an option to PVP under the leadership of Tyrande or Sylvanas. As Tyrande is going to opt out of the Peace, and Sylvanas is after global domination.
Possible united Azeroth under Thrall, with Anduin and Blaine as leaders under Thralls banner.
That would be my guess based on what I see, however I have guessedwrong with every expansion except Legion. (mainly because I kept guessing Legion was next after Cat, After Mop…)
Thrall himself wouldn’t want that; he thinks every decision he made as warchief was the wrong one.
Don’t feel bad about that; after WotLK, I figured it’d be an Emerald Dream expansion, but then we got the Elemental Planes expansion, instead, with Cataclysm.
I would love to see an Emerald Dream-based expansion set. That would make the way for more races, perhaps Dryads (female) / Keepers of the Grove (male), as the very first quadrupeds ever to be playable.
