BFA got too flashy. It is looking more and more like Korean MMO with full of eye candy. Some people enjoy it but I rather have an option to tone down the spell effects and all the glow in the cities. Current special effects are too distracting for me.

I don’t think Korea invented the concept of over-the-top special effects.

In the open world the effects are fine but any part of the game where there’s more than a handful of players gathered feels a bit psychedelic.
It would be great if by default, spells fell back to more basic and subdued appearances when you’re part of a raid. This would be particularly nice in raid instances where it’s much more important that you see the puddle of bad on the floor instead of 5 moonchicken lasers and 3 players doing their azerite beam. The existing BG/Raid graphics settings tab is no good because it subdues boss spell effects along with those of players.

I’m in the boat that the more shiny and pretty things are to look at, the more happy I am. I want the graphics to get even bigger and brighter. ;; Sue me.

They’re the ones with all the Special Effects!
The animations are great, minus incinerate for warlocks and lightning bolt for Shaman.
Why does every murloc, naga and serpent in the game have a better looking lightning bolt than the player shaman? Why does the warlock’s fel-fire look like a fel-fart now?

Both this and the Nep song are among the top 10 world’s best songs.
WoW is not even half way there, we are still missing cat girls and extremely revealing transmog.
I try to pretend that the murloc/naga/serpent lightning bolts don’t exist.
And that’s just tragic… 
The only excuse that’s given is that the lightning bolt remake was complained about in Legion, so it never passed.
While it’s true that maybe like, five people complained about it - it’s not the same animation, it’s much better. So it sucks even more that we’re not getting it.
That’s because you listen to American propaganda. We in North Korea know America stole the great leader’s invented computer image making technology! They also stole the hamburger!
