Next class tuning?

Has blizzard made mention of another class tuning? Elemental is in a pretty bad state at the moment. While ascendance+stormkeeper is awesome and feels great, the damage in between cds is non existent. Feels terrible.

If there was any additional tuning, you will see notes tonight.

I believe it won’t be until next week though, usually 2 weeks in between tuning

I would love to see shaman get the paladin treatment though. Resto at least needs a complete overhaul, changing numbers isn’t going to fix the spec. Can’t comment on ele.

What do you think? what would you like to see? Just numbers changes or an overhaul?

I’m just a casual but resto just feels boring now. BGs just feel like its spam riptide, pray you dont get silenced during a HW and that’s it. Doesn’t feel like I can save anyone from spike damage and if I get 2 on me i’m most likely dead. Meanwhile I see mistweavers holding their own vs 5 or 6 other folks attacking them without breaking a sweat

Resto lavaburst feels chunky

I was doing one of those nightmare bounties as ele, where you have to kill something in 15s, and man If i didnt have CDs ready I couldn’t kill a mob in time. I literally had to run around looking for weak critters (butterflies, frogs etc)

I agree with your rsham analysis. I am seeing the same thing. 2 people on me and its gg

I feel at the very least, rsham should have a lower cast time on healing wave. Or change it to healing surge, idc if the mana cost is higher.

It is slower and does less healing than a priest flash heal. kinda insane

ya the datamined notes are bad to say the least they are nerfing tempest and slightly buffinf CL again. They are clueless

The changes we need:

Ascendance overload damage decreased to 50% from 75%

15/20 % aura buff

Lava burst damage increased by 45%

Molten Wrath is removed and replaced by Molten Splash (still sharing a node with MOTE)

Molten Splash : Lava burst damage does 60% of it’s damage to 3 nearby targets

The changes we’ll get:

Aura buff 3%

If this is true, maybe it’s time to shelf this spec for a bit. Tempest was the only ability that actually hit hard. It’s not like it’s always available all that often either.

LvB, LB, CL, Earthquake all need pretty substantial buffs, if it takes nerfing ASC a little, thats understandable.

Also, how do they base a class/spec around mastery and have mastery be completely useless in PVP? Overloads hit for like 3k if that. It’s insane.

Blue post is up with changes that will go live on March 24:

Shaman

  • Elemental

    • Lava Burst damage increased by 20%.

    • Elemental Blast damage increased by 15%.

    • Earth Shock damage increased by 15%.

    • Lightning Bolt damage increased by 10%.

    • Flame Shock damage increased by 10%.

    • Voltaic Blaze damage increased by 10%.

  • Restoration

    • All healing increased by 3%.

Yeah, that doesn’t change anything for ele in a raid and farseer just needs a rework

Not gonna do anything. We are squishy af.

No other healer can die from just two dps, except rsham.. Maybe rdruid

They announced a roadmap for class tuning already. First time they’ve done this, but we know we will have tuning every week from the start of the season (March 17th) to April 7th. So we get 4 weeks of tuning in a row. 17th, 24th, 31st and 7th. They said that this is only the tuning they will be doing right at the start of the season and does not mean they won’t do more later on.
