They might not do allied races again. We might go back to new races or a new system.

BUT! If they do, I would really like to see saberon, half ogres and man’ari as Horde ARs.

to be fair didnt we kind go into a mist/death realm that a tuskarr gave us in bordom tundra? “not without a fight” is the quest and there are tuskarr there?

Would have been pretty fun if pre-patch had a limited time unlock for 2 Northrend races.

People would loose their damn minds if they had a limited time AR added to the game.

Oh what I’d give for sethrak, or any of the races that are part of the Alliance or Horde already.

I expect we’ll see an allied race added in 9.2.5 or 9.3.
The devs seem to be talking like the Shadowlands races are not coming to the living world much (though we know Kyrian do, and Maldraxxus can).
I suspect we’ll see Saberon for horde. I have no idea for alliance. I like the idea of playable Sethrak, but they don’t feel like they belong on the alliance sadly.

Its just interesting. Never seen a guild name highlighted like that. Your achievements are also highlighted.

If not shadowlands races then my guess would be Ankoan for alliance gilgoblins for horde followed by arrakoa for alliance and ogres for horde

I logged over to another character and I dont see them as highlighted on my side

. . . The whole prospect of an allied race linked to a core race somehow always felt kinda dumb to me. I mean if we’re going off who recruited them leader wise then humans, dwarves, trolls, goblins, undead, night elves, Draenei and pandaren still don’t have an equivalent as Genn technically brought the Kul Tirans in, the dark irons were already apart of the alliance, the void elves kinda recruited themselves, the lightforged just kinda waltzed right as well as the vulpera and technically the Horde as a whole brought in the Zandalari.

If it’s a skeletal rig thing then humans, undead, pandaren, and trolls don’t have an equivalent, and honestly none of this makes to much sense. I honestly don’t think allied races HAVE to have a core version of themselves.

I hope that if/when they do, that what they add in are ACTUAL allied races instead of things that, for the most part, could have been accomplished via customization options (some of which should have been implemented YEARS ago)
