8.2 is very barebones so far. 8.25 should be out in a few weeks, but there is barely any content. Hopefully there is a bigger patch

8.2 added 2 new zones, a raid, and a large 5-man dungeon. I can’t think of another mid-expansion content patch that added more content. It is in no way “barebones”.

8.2.5 is mostly just the new goblin/worgen models as well as the anniversary stuff. Haven’t seen anything significant besides that.
If 8.2 is “barebones” I am genuinely curious of an example of a non-barebones patch.

Well supposedly there’s alot if encrypted stuff as well. Wowhead had an article about it. We don’t know the full extent but don’t forget RAF will also be a part of this update.
Might not be something most people can use but it needed an update.
8.2 brought two entire zones, a raid and a mega-dungeon. It’s a huge patch!
2.5 is just a mid-patch so it won’t be as big, but I’ve heard a lot of it is still encrypted and hidden from us. Probably more War Campaign and story content. So we might not actually have seen everything that’s coming in it yet. They’re being extremely secretive about things.

You may not like the content but there is no way 8.2 can be considered barebones.

in between patches are rarely all that major.
I think we could be getting close to the next bit of info. IDK if its just me but I get Incompatible messages when trying to access the PTR which means the next PTR build could come within a week or so.
On one hand you are right. I stand corrected.
Patches 8.0, 7.0, 6.0, etc all had more content than 8.2!

The next in between patch is totally major! I’m getting a total makeover! Finally!
Which I’m both cautiously optimistic and highly excited about. 
How could I forget, I hope the salon place for goblins give you a proper makeover that you like!
