Not having heirlooms on should help you to slow down with leveling. I have one toon that I’m doing this with. It doesn’t level as fast as my other alts. This should help some with what you are wanting.

Not sure that it will be delayed, but from what we’ve seen with a few classes (I’m looking at you spriest) it may be one of the more unfinished expansions when released.

what is the super secret code to make a mage one shot things? is it still IDKFA? My mage doesent seem to do that, to anything except generic cows outside of goldshire.

Yes, this is an awesome buff, but i’d like the choice to toggle it off for some of my alts, especially now that it has been extended.
I got this guy from 50 to 62 today, loving this was extended! I have a monk I got a little bit done on as well. For me, spamming dungeons is very rewarding at the moment and I definitely prefer it for the 1-60 range in particular - no flying, old zone are kind of a bummer for me as far as questing goes.
There are still random little pockets of things that aren’t balanced properly after the scaling either. I was doing an escort quest in Ashenvale where you escort this guy out of a Fulborg hold and both Arms and Fury I was getting owned at the end where you have to fight three mobs at once. Some of the Fulborgs have totems that hit really hard and stay around after they die.
Thank god I was rushing to get my druid up as fast as I could before Monday but now I not only can level him up but other charc’s as well.

Why was this unpinned? Icy Veins said in an article the the Buff was not, in fact, being extended. I hope they were wrong.

Alright, I see that people seem to be against people like me complaining, but could I maybe despell the bonus or something?
I’m a returning player from Mists of Pandaria, and the friend I’m playing with has never played the game before. I don’t like being able to speed through all of the zones thanks to the 2x XP event, because I’d like to go through, see all of the new quests, and just generally enjoy all that I’ve missed out of.
I understand that people with several characters are loving this as an opportunity to level up alts, but I feel like I shouldn’t be level 22 after 2 hours. I’m also coming from a Cataclysm private server and there I remember fondly grinding through zones. It’s not the ability to go back, it’s the fact that I feel like I shouldn’t be there altogether.
And there was much rejoicing!
