The rep buff is active while in Legion or BFA zones where rep for those expansions factions can be gained. It just appears as a normal buff next to the map.
Ion confirmed that the rep bonus is still going away in his latest interview.
Current Reputation Buff
- The reputation buff is still ending, but the team is planning to add new permanent bonuses that will help alts catch up for the rest of the expansion, such as the with the legendary cloak progression.

I’ve been using the rep buff to farm for Legion paragon chest mount drops. God knows how many I’ve done these past few weeks. Still no luck on Farondis, Nightfallen, or Valarjar. The RNG is painful, but the rep buff helps mitigate it. I would really appreciate extending it until prepatch as well. Thank you.

I agree, if they are worried about the WQ week giving people paragons every day, then turn it back the week after
The rep buff still going away at the end of the week? I didn’t see anything that says otherwise, but I thought I’d ask.

Reputation Buff on Live
The experience buff was open ended and you can never have too many alts.
The reputation buff has allowed players to unlock allied races or new rewards and will not be extended
There's another buff coming out after the reputation buff that will help players with alts catch up.
"How do I get the corruption I want" and Legendary Cloak getting caught up was mentioned.
Hopefully news in a few days.

Please consider extending the rep buff til Shadowlands just like you did with the XP buff. I am still farming for legion paragon mounts and without it I wouldn’t spend time grinding for them

Even an extra week or two would be nice. The last alt I want rank 3 crafting recipes on is bout halfway through honoured with 2-3 remaining factions and needs revered for rank 3.
