Thank you! i just came back after playing from 2005-2015 and honestly this rep grind has been insane to get the vulpera. Looking forward to speeding this up tuesday.
Cool.
But is the plan for allied Races released in Legion and BFA to still require the relevant rep before they can be unlocked? I thought there was some info via alpha that those requirements looked like they were going away?
The rep buff should be for any faction from any expansion as long as it’s still achievable in game. A big pain point with switching mains is the loss of reputations. Why not give folks reason to revisit old content? Why is Blizzard so resistant to encouraging players back into the entire world?
Expand the reputation buff for all achievable faction reputations, regardless of expansion.
This is great. Considering I am finishing up the alts I leveled from the XP event by the time this launches on monday I should be ready to grind out rep for paragon boxes.
This will be a very efficient way to earn gold. I hate farming herbs and ore so this works out for me.
Thank you soooo much. Trying to get flying in BFA and some of these factions are such a drag so this helps out A LOT.
Hm so the 8.3 factions do not get the bonus rep? Well I was debating with myself as to whether or not I should do those horrid dailies for the bonus rep. Since the factions are not included in the buff I will continue to ignore them.
Btw Blizzard those dailies really are horrible.
WOOT!! ty ty bilzz !!!
Lol, I actually recently came back and JUST got Pathfinder 2, but I’ll still say thanks and appreciated! Can catch up on other reps at least.
Edit: Just saw that it doesn’t apply to the new 8.3 reps, that’s actually a huge let down…
Got all excited for a while. Then read the fine print.
They shouldve worded it better
Not written - 100% BUFF YAY
then in fine print - btw not for anything you want or need to do xD
Dangled it in my face and now it feels like being punished for loving and playing the game a lot. Buff might as well not be applied if you’ve been playing even a moderate amount…
I had half of a list of things to do too.
Emperor Shaohao
Keepers of Time
Shatari Skyguard
Ogri’la
I guess i’m only so disappointed because it was worded poorly and got my hopes up. But then, let’s be real. If you’ve played at all you should be exalted or close to with every faction since Cata.
This is great to hear. Any idea if the 8.3 factions will get added to the reputation buff, too? A lot of players are as concerned about that as leveling players are concerned about the experience buff.
I have to ask the question, why exclude Rajani and Uldum Accord from the rep buff? The reputations have been out for 90 days, giving them the bonus rep means it’s reasonably achievable to get exalted on your alts.
the next WQ bonus week starts the day after this ends, lol
Great job guys and gals at Blizzard. Ya put a smile on my face w/ this announcement!
Golf Clap
On behalf of returning players like myself, thank you, Blizzard!
Ah so it is for legion too, at least.
Time to farm for last three paragon mounts!( Dream, Night and Farondis.)
This is awesome, I just came back a month ago after being gone since beginning of legion. Been grinding legion & bfa reps for the past month and I’m so close to flying for both.
As usual blizzards way of doing things is like bait on a hook. In this quarantine period, they could have included all reputations just so players can revisit old zones and do things NOT BFA. Even the Rajani and Uldum reputations are old news now, Blizzards reputations are so crappily done now that anyone with a little dedication to do world quests and dailies everyday plus contracts can get to exalted in a month or so (oh how very hard). So anyone who really wants this buff is perhaps trying to get it on alts or wants to level OTHER reputations. No really game changing items or recipes are being sold by these guys except Contract recipes (which players were selling barely a month into 8.3) so what is the ground breaking current content are they protecting from this buff?
I was really excited when I saw a 100% reputation buff, till I saw the fine print. What makes Blizzard think that I actually would want to come back and play WoW to grind out reputations by doing repeatable flavourless world quests for zones I didn’t want to go to while they were live just to get a bit of gold, some re-skinned mount and maybe some random toy? WoW has plenty of interesting old zones and content that a lot of players haven’t really experienced and a pan reputation buff would help a lot of players do old zones, quests and work towards getting old reputations. But I guess fun is not what blizzard wants players to have.
Back to ESO. Thanks for nothing as usual Blizzard.
How long should we expect to see them both up? Or is just kinda a “have it till we’re done with pre-patch” type thing?
Thank you anyways for the exp buff
Really? I have to come and complain about how ludicrous this bonus reputation is.
I did read some of the fine print initially and caught the 8.3 factions will not get increase. I decided to let it go. I am reasonable. So I thought, ok people could’ve really used it on these two factions the most because it is some of the worst rep grind to date… but it’s the last patch. So just let it go.
I read this topic and see people complaining you cannot rep grind before Legion and this caught my attention. Why would you disinclude all previous old reputation??? That makes no sense…
Ok everyone here is exp bonus BUT you can only start receiving it from level 100 and up. See when I put it in different context, it doesn’t make sense.
Here a visual display. A huge advertisement on launch.
100% EXP BONUS~!!! …when you are level 100.
Can you understand how ridiculous that sounds? Why is reputation bonus getting unfair treatment?
I would like them to please fix it. As I was looking forward to taking advantage of the reputation bonus. We all know asking for 8.3 increase is too much for them. Hopefully they can fix it so all factions get bonus reputation up to 8.3.
Yeah, it is a really bad limitation since I’m already exalted with that stuff.
