[News] Exalt in the Impressive Influence 100% Bonus Reputation Buff: April 20 – May 18

Totally love this idea, but any chance you might consider loosening some of the restrictions on what reps are affected? I’m super excited for a lot of new players getting their Legion and BFA reps up easier, but I personally would love to be able to do the same thing for older content, like Warlords of Draenor, or Mists of Pandaria. Any chance we can have the Rep buff apply to all Rep (excepting the two most recent ones in 8.3, of course)

I can see an argument for WoD reps for the sake of Draenor pathfinder, but I don’t think anything older than that is really necessary. Pre-WoD reps are mainly for prestige and cosmetics at this point, which don’t have much of a gameplay impact.

forgot to ask does 100% rep also influence quests? so if i turn in quest that gives 2000 rep when 100% released will it give me 4000?

Such unexpected buff is bad for the community. You should either include such buff for 8.3 and announce it earlier so people can decide to unlock fly in 8.2 to enjoy fly early or unlock it in 8.3 to enjoy unlocking it easily or never do this AT ALL. You are screwing those who spent a lot of time especially recently to unlock fly. By doing this you are telling people not to treat your game content seriously. How about you start a double loot rate for mythic dungeon all of a sudden? How about half the boss health in dungeons all of a sudden? Huh? You should NOT modify the difficulty of maxed level content that easily without announcement way early to have people aware of the patch coming so they can choose how to invest their time. And you are also about to screw some other players who are about to return after this buff to only to find out they have missed this buff. This is lame.

This is amazing for those like me who just recently got into BFA after a break from WoW and want to unlock allied races. I’ve been holding back on making alts so I can enjoy them on races I’ve never played before. Shame on the people complaining about a free bonus that will help lots of newer or returning players. If it doesn’t apply to you then just ignore it, no need to gripe about stuff like this

Thank you. (Is that ten characters?)

Thank you very much. (That’s definitely ten characters.)

I’m curious though, does this apply to storyline quests such as the ones in suramar for the night borne or is it only for world quests?

So when does the experience buff go active? I’ve logged in and I don’t see the buff…

You know right below I recanted my statement, right?

The rep one starts 4/20 - when the xp one was supposed to end but isn’t now because they extended it.

So we get the exp buff extended AND a rep buff starting on the 20th? this is amazing.

considering that is the pvp one i doubt it just use a friend its what i did was done in a day didnt take long once you figure out where to do it at it goes fast

you will only see it on low lvl toons

Legion factions too eh? I might just have to try for a few paragon cache mounts!

Does this extend to all reps in the game or just bfa? Also does it work past exalted and count towards paragon?

BFa and legion but not the 2 new factions

Dang… might have to finish up my non-exLted reps now.

Let me get this straight. You’re whining that Blizzard didn’t predict a global pandemic that keeps people inside, and therefore didn’t include a 100% rep and exp buff when 8.3 released in January? So instead of it being a nice thing that they’re even giving us something like this in the first place, you think this is somehow “screwing” people who got reps done before this buff?

Boy are you in for a shock when I tell you about a few amazing concepts like “past expansions” and “outdated content”. It sounds like you probably hate that dungeons from past expansions are soloable now due to game mechanic progression.
