They’re going with them as-is, folks. They’ve got the game system they want in place, now it’s going to be months of, “we hear you” and “we’re taking all the feedback into consideration”, but they really aren’t.
Covenants being a hard choice and Soulbinds are the expansion’s “hook”, and they’re not going to fundamentally change them.
No one is going to go back on a game system that forms the center of an entire expansion. Even true iteration is a “maybe”. Hopefully I’m just crabby and cynical from the bad precedents they’ve set in the past, but I doubt it.
Make choices matter.
I agree to a point, but two patches in when one covenant gets nerfed and another buffed…
Sorry, I don’t care to pay for my own mistakes, I will not pay for someone else’s.
I think I’ll wait to see how this pans out. Don’t get me wrong, I kinda like the covenant idea but with what you’re saying we might as well get rid of duel specs.
And pro-Sylvanas she isn’t evil supporters everywhere just cried in sorrow.
The Venthyr and Night Fae look a lot cooler and would be more unique for allied races IMO. Kinda hoping all four will become playable; but I’m not holding my breath. lol
They aren’t that similar at all.
lol alts are a huge part of WoW and the majority of players have alts. I for one am alright with their choice because I will have a different experience for my several alts. I also don’t PVP and seriously raid so there isn’t a problem for me. shrug

Personally, I’m hyped for the Kyrian covenant. Seems good to me.
