Anyone else found that installing nvidia drivers 460.79 causes lots of graphic glitches occurring in the game such shimmering and shaking objects in the scenery?

Yeah I had this happen as well in Torghast after installing the drivers. Various objects were highlighted and glitches through. Didn’t happen much maybe a few times

Been getting a lot of shadow flickering, myself - particularly in Revendreth, oddly enough.
Wasn’t aware it was driver-related. That’s a shame.

Haven’t updated that yet, might just leave it and hope Nvida fixes it
Yes, for me it’s every time I’m flying over bastion. I have a 3080 so it annoys me greatly.
The wife and I have the exact same system…same windows version…same video card…same new SSDs…everything in duplicate.
When I install an update for the video drivers one of the two of our machines pretty much always shows errors for WoW. and ONLY wow, lol.
Its just odd that with everything being the same that both machines wouldnt show the error, lol.
Ive seen a few twitchy graphics but I just figured it was on blizzards end.
Yes, a lot of trees have been flickering in almost all the zones.

this one…huge issues. I was terrified at first and thought my graphics card had burnt out

I had to roll my NVIDIA Drivers back to older ver cause of the flickering…The tech section is aware of this now and trying to work on it…best you can do is roll your driver back to past ver and wait for them to fix it right now…I use a Geoforce 1660 Super 6 gig card.

Shimmering leaves and background. I even had the display blackouts (outside WoW) that people mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
AMD upping their game might be psyching out Nvidia to make mistakes like this. lol
I rolled back to the previous version and all the glitches were gone,i remember back in vanilla when nvidia drivers caused really bad graphics lagging for everybody.
I thought this was something testers forgot to report.
Yes, there’s plenty of places where this happens mostly on kyrian corpses for some reason.

I second this, rolled back to version from November and issues are gone.
Note to self don’t update driver
those trees are magic trees.
The new drivers that came out today didn’t fix my issue with the flickering …and others have reported same thing …some it helped but other nope.

Noticed it immediately after updating. Definitely noticeable enough to be annoying.
I just updated this driver yesterday. And googled how to roll it back this morning. Green seems to be the trigger color, everything green was flickering. I haven’t tried it yet since the roll back though. About to log in.
this is a possible Solution:
Go to your desktop (windows + d)
right click desktop
Nvidia Control panel
3d settings
restore default settings
apply (may ask to apply a second time, do so)
This works for me every time the graphics start misbehaving
Edit: This wont change your in-game settings
