New zone kinda boring?

While the new zone DOES visually look great, I just feel like the zone is a little boring. Even with flying, things are spread out way to much and most of the zone feels empty with too small of mob density. I also barely see any others players, I might run into a couple other people here or there if a rare elite pops up on the map or might see one during a world quest but that’s about it.

I would love to see more world events go on or something to just make the zone feel more active because right now it’s pretty dull.

-There’s no pet battle content. None whatsoever.
-Zone is very empty for how new it is. It’s day two. Even deader in Warmode.

It’s definitely undercooked.

Haven’t done much in the new zone. I accepted one of the campaign quests and it disappeared. Not in my quest log. Not on the objective tracker. Quest giver won’t talk to me anymore… Can’t even get the signature cloak of the patch.

Went back to Khaz Algar and will just do old content and gather some gold.

Thats a known bug. Try relogging to fix the issue.

Eh Internet is down til Friday so im just on the phone. Tried using my phone as a hotspot but too unstable. Sigh.

Will try this evening. Not on my gaming computer at the moment.

I had to relog several times just to get through the whole quest line. This was minutes after the servers went up however, not sure if it’s any better now.

I was having issues this morning. First one quest didn’t list all the objectives. Now this quest. Decided to go to work early.

I’d think at least the basic would be tested on the PTR and fixed but… it isn’t like questing has changed much in the last 21 years.

There were a few times when I had to relog to fix any issues I got while questing.

I was wondering if the pet tracker was bugged or something, but no, there are no wild battle pets. They could add the 3 unused battle pets to the wild and then move some of the pets from the cache to the wild.

Im gonna come back in the next expansion lol, this one is shot

Kinda boring? IMO I find it’s totally boring.
The whole intro stuff in Tavazareshkereshtoontownland was annoying, the enemies too strong, my shadow priest, supposed to be “stronger now” got ganked twice. Not a fan of having to redo my talents either.

Maybe it has something to do with fact I have a headache, or maybe not.
Either way, it feels like a real chore. I don’t want to have any of my alts waste any time in the new area. It’s all purple, and more purple. And it’s LLOOOOONG. I made it as far as the dome with the green plants growing and instead of progressing the story, it’s all “you have to help the engineer of the place” Lemme guess, water the plants? Pull weeds? Kill some pests? I hearthed out. I was done.

I mean, the story seems interesting but I hate linear gameplay, especially in an MMO.
I don’t like this approach to patch content. Currently, it’s: 1) Here is new zone, you have to unlock it piece by piece doing linear quest 2) There’s stuff over here/there but really just enemies to kill if you want to do that 3) Can’t do squat unless you unlock by doing linear quest
It should be: 1) Here is new zone 2) Here are things to find and loot 3) Here are some activities to do 4) Here’s some quests 5) Oh, here’s the main campaign story if you want.

Was able to get it to show up after quitting the game and logging in 4 times. Hopefully it is fixed soon so others don’t have to deal with this.

Blizz phasing the game into a ghost town to save on server load.

It’s silly that we play an MMO but groups of players in the same area are phased so they disappear.

Diablo 4 is worse, you can play for hours without seeing another player out in the wild.

I’d pay extra for a shard free game.

I tried again to do the campaign, it’s so darn long and boring.
I finally completed “Campaign 1 of 4” or whatever it’s called. This is definitely, IMO, a “single-player one-character” game. There’s no way in heck I’m gonna run my plethora of alts through this drag. Just one character…piece-meal too…maybe 1 or 2 quests a day, just to complete the “hurdles”. That’s it. I hope Midnight isn’t the same way, a single-toon game, due to time-investment being absurd-obscene-off-the-scale. Ugh.
